It's a nice restaurant by the river Güeña. It is very well known by the good quality of it's food and service. Fresh local products presented with exciting new combinations and tradicional asturian dishes.

First off, the proprietor was our host and waiter. He made us immediately comfortable and walked us through the menu. He explained the local cider house culture and recommended a decent cider to us. El Molin specializes in local Asturian cuisine and does it with heart. The food is hearty and flavorful and filling. I recommend the Filo Pastry with... More

A very nice surprise. We expected a good, reasonable lunch, and we got a degustation menu. Every dish was very well-thought-out. Even something, that could be just a well cooked fish, had a original twist. The wine by glass was also very good (we could not taste a good bottle - driving). The bill was a nice surprise. I could... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful, doing their best to describe the dishes to us. The food was very tasty, and their wine recommendations were spot on. Atmosphere was very nice too. Highly recommend if in Cangas.

The restaurant is so pretty. Situated at near the river. Staff friendly and cordial. Food is amazing. I ate sardines in a salad with caramelized oranges; amazing taste. The rest of the party ate fish and meat. Everything was very tasty. I really recommend it

The owners enthusiasm is infectious and is the reason that this place has such a great atmosphere. Unfortunately the high quality does not extend to the food, which consists of solid but unspectacular offerings. For appetizer we shared the mushroom and chestnut dish which was very tasty but very heavy. For the main dish I had the beef escalope which... More

Good food for a reasonable price! The service is perfect. They offer specialties of the region, like fabada and Asturias cheeses. The fabada was very good!

This is a lovely restaurant, fantastic staff, fantastic food, great atmosphere -perfecto! The owners are a Dutch/Spanish couple so a good multi-lingual welcome (there's even an English written menu if you wish). We've eaten here as a couple and with family and all the food we have had here has been great. We're back in Asturias next week and we'll... More

We were not going to review this as we rarely review above three, but we were disappointed with our experience here. OK it was on a feast day when they had been very busy at lunch, but that is no excuse for opening late in the evening , especially when we had pre booked for our last evening meal in... More

This restaurant offers Asturian ingredient-based dishes with a modern spin. This means using different (to traditional) cooking methods such as the "crujiente de cabrales con avellana" which then makes this restaurant different. They also have traditional dishes and it looked like the restaurant had made them their own too. The decor is attractive, providing a rural setting that it at... More
