Great food, great service. What more could you want. We have been going there for many years and never been disappointed. Rodrigo
One of our favourite restaurants in the town. We alway eat here at least a couple of times when we are in Alcossebre. Lovely ambiance, delicious food and good service. Our go to restaurant when we have friends visiting as it has something on the...menu for everyone.More
El Patio is one of our favourites in Alcossebre. Been there many times and the whole family enjoy this place and the people working there. The service this year was slightly reduced, hopefully just a one timer.
I’ll start with the food. New pizza recipe. Supposed to be lighter and it was. But I preferred the former pizza and other dishes that have been taken off the menu. Maybe keeping both recipes would be a better offer? The humous wasn’t bad but...pita would be a much better choice rather than toasted rye bread.. the rue seeds overtake the taste of the humous which was bland. Now for the hospitality: Back for dinner after more than a year with the hopes that the service (feeling you are welcome and not the actual delivery of food) would have changed. With covid and curfews we had been pushed out of the restaurant to make way for a second service which was less than aimable. Our reservations for upper terrace were not kept. We had been told we didn’t reserve on the terrace as another reviewer wrote. But last night just proved that either the waiters are told not to smile, not to converse with the customers or make them feel welcome. Upon arrival, we were Told by the owner to go upstairs to our table without so much as a look in the eye. After finding our table alone, the waiter then came over and threw the menus on the table and said “bebida?” No good evening etc. The same throughout dinner. We decided against dessert and he never brought the bill! So we went downstairs and I asked the owner, who was in shorts by the way-such class 🤣- for the bill. As rude as when we arrived, I tried to make conversation, but not even a smile or a thank you for eating at his restaurant and spending Our money! We eat out a lot in this town and have had better service in a small tapas bar. A little smile would go a long way! Welcome your customers! A little politeness will help you in the long run.More
My rating would have been more had it not been for the attitude of Louis? We booked this restaurant a week in advance and asked for an outside table. The male (Louis?) stated that we would be seated on the upstairs terrace. I asked if...this was outside and he said yes, so we were ok with this. On the night of our booking I entered reception and said that we had a table reserved on the upstairs terrace. Louis said that we hadn’t to which I recounted our conversation a week earlier. Impossible he said. He then basically called me a liar despite my wife and son being present when I booked. His attitude was extremely poor. We ended up with a table outside on the street, which I was more than happy with. The food and service from the waitress was very good, but sadly I was left with a sour taste from Louis.More
Great service High standard of cooking Good and reliable wine choice Menu has evolved and developed in the last 5 years, the pizzas are now a new shape but as good as ever Sadly the grilled veg has been dropped A great asset in Alcossebre
Louis and his team are great, Gabriella knows her stuff. The food is to die for and the service is second to none. Dog friendly so don't leave your friend at home.
The recent change of pizza menu was a disappointment sadly. The fillings (& the pizza itself) were delicious, but the crust was very thick & I much preferred the previous version which was thin & crispy. While this won't stop me visiting this lovely restaurant,...in future I will go elsewhere if I want to order a pizza. Would recommend they offer both thick & thin pizzas & give customers the choice. It might also indicate to the owners which their customers prefer.More
Absolutely delicious food with some outstanding dishes. Starters were fabulous - we had to share as each was so good. Main meals also yummy - a great evening was had by us all.
We had just arrived following the drive from the UK and wanted to ensure we had a good first night. Loric managed to squeeze us in even though we hadn’t booked and it was clearly a busy service. As always the food and service were...of an extremely high standard. Would highly recommend - in the 20 years we have been coming to Alcossebre - we have never been disappointed by this restaurant.More
Visited every week for 3 weeks as food and service is brilliant. The owner is very nice and welcoming. Always visit when ever in village as my parents live it here. Highly recommended. Lee&Zena
All the team did a great effort on making us feel like being in a special place. Wonderful appetisers and great fish, pasta or pizza. Follow up recommendations and you won’t be disappointed. Top place!!
