Marina’s Tavern was a tasty dinner!
The staff is very friendly, the place is pretty just on a little cute street out of the main road and this the reason I liked it. The food is very tasty Greek Traditional.
Overall I recommend this place
We were delighted to stumble across this tucked away taverna in a fairly off pitch and fairly grubby location in Corfu.
The menu was concise but nonetheless offered typical Greek dishes including kalarmari, grilled octopus, a delightful tarama and a fabulous dish of baked aubergine...More
This place is indeed adorable, the food is fresh and the wine is good. But one of the waiters there - the only guy - is such a toxic personality that he needs to go. My Greek isn’t that great, but I’m 90% sure that...More
Cali mera! Whether you are ordering a salad or a fish dish, Marina’s kitchen won’t disappoint you! We took the green bean salad , octopus , fried squid and sardines and yoghurt with homemade jelly for dessert. The staff is very friendly and Marina herself...More
We stumbled across this wonderful tavern whilst looking for a lunch venue. Perfect in every way we had the most wonderful local baked feta and feta and tomatoes on pita bread. The waiter was wonderful- a peaceful spot away from the tourist crowds
I had the sea bream and it was perfectly cooked. My companions had lamb and bourada (sp?) and said both dishes were excellent. We sat outside, and because Marina’s is in a slightly secluded lane in the old town, it was peaceful and calm.
I loved this place so much I returned the next day and ordered the same thing.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food and wine delicious.
It is a casual setting but feels so relaxed and authentic.
