We had a lovely meal at Funky Kitchen. The restaurant is in a great location in Mykonos town. The staff are extremely attentive and polite. The food is Greek with a modern twist. It’s delicious and experimental. I loved how colourfully the dishes were presented....Andrea was so wonderful - we are so sorry with the confusion of the tip! Due to miscommunication we didn’t leave one but hope this review will make up for it, because we had such a fabulous meal with you! We can’t wait to return to Mykonos to dine with you again.More

In the two weeks prior to our visit here Greek cuisine, good, great, and bad were all starting to blur together. This became extremely evident in the Mykonos food scene. Funky Kitchen was an innovative experience that could easily live in the heart of great...contemporary city like Boston or New York. A gem with great presentation that does not stifle you with a cloud of pretense and pompousness. The owner Andrea and staff were not only knowledgeable about the meal, history, and technique of each dish they could also provide an educated recommendation for drink and wine pairings. Easily one of the top places we have eaten during our entire trip.More

Great place for innovative food beyond the usual Greek Dishes. Some really smart innovations of the known classics resulting in great, not too heavy dishes! Very well done! Really nice Ambiente regardless of whether you’re inside or outside in the terrace. Only downside is price...- expect some 80-100 EUR p.Pax if you go for a full menu including wine. However, you are in Mykonos so don’t expect it anywhere to be a bargain!More

After going round Mykonos looking for a decent Greek food restaurant, we were disappointed to find Funky Kitchen hidden in a small alley near the centre. Service was pleasant although it took nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive despite it not being that...busy. Food was mediocre bordering on pretentious…and the ‘Greek’ salad a bit of a tragedy.More

What amazing meal at Funky Kitchen. Every dish surpassed the one before. Really lovely staff, beautiful setting and the food was divine. It wasn’t cheap but as a treat it was so worth it.

What an awesome restaurant! We couldn’t find one single fault. We had a fabulous experience from beginning to end. The staff are very friendly & warm. The service was fantastic. The food was incredible! We had the calamari spaghetti & octopus carpaccio to start… both...extremely delicious. For the main courses we had the beef cheek, calves liver & tuna. All three dishes were AMAZING! The ambience was cozy & because it’s a little hidden within the town it has a super relaxed vibe. Unlike other expensive restaurants in Mykonos it isn’t pretentious or fake, it’s authentic and well worth the price. This is a true gem & we will be going back 100%.More

Absolutely stunning food. This is fine dining at a very reasonable price and a wonderful service team too. Already going to book a repeat visit just a few days later to try some other dishes. The spaghetti calamari is heavenly; I was grinning while eating...this. We immediately felt at home with the waitering team who helped me choose a dish. This isn’t far away from Michelin dining and can’t recommend highly enough.More

Totally loved this. I picked this at the last minute based on reviews and menu. I love trying different places on my travels. Book a table. The restaurant is small and busy. Having said that, it has a calming, really cool and sexy, romantic ambience....Most people were couples. I was solo dining but treated so nicely (not always the case). All staff were so sweet. Super friendly, helpful and service was faultless. Very clean. Not a huge menu but a really good choice. Lot's of options for vegetarian's. I would have ordered more but dining solo, it is not so easy and I don't like to waste. I went for the tuna tataki which is their famous dish. This was delicious. Portion sizes at these places are generally smaller. I am a tiny eater and whilst this was enough for me, other people may find it very light and yes you probably would want a starter or dessert. For me, I loved it. It was light, tasty and refreshing. They gave a free sample taster (chef special) which was some sort of mushroom thing. This was lovely. Literally a small piece (mouthful) but it was delicious. I had food envy looking at the couple next to me who ordered a few dishes to share. If you go with other diners, I suggest ordering a few plates and sharing. I solo travel mainly so it's not so easy to do this without wasting. The menu choice includes salads, lamb, salmon, chicken, summer rolls and more! Food comes out quickly but is freshly prepared and well presented. Not cheap but the dinner, ambience and service were excellent so I was happy to pay. Mykonos is very hectic so it was lovely to have a nice quiet dinner and relax. Although the restaurant was full, it wasn't rowdy or noisy. It's located at the back of a quiet area unlike some of the other restaurants where people walk past constantly and stare! You can view the menu online before you go. C-19 safe. Highly recommend.More

We were on an EF tour and this was our welcome dinner to Mykonos. I was very surprised that they picked a place that was too honest, at this price point. The food, service and the atmosphere were amazing. If you do make it here,...please save room for dessert, the orange pie!More

It’s an easy walk to town. They take reservations and I recommend making them because they get busy in the in season. Dress code is each casual but I noticed people dress up for dinner.
