Encouraged by the rating on TA we went here. Expected all the traditional Greek dishes but we're disappointed by the limited menu and the general surrounds. Perhaps we caught it on an off day

Well located in the port, pleasant, good cooking and not too expensive. It's a real greek tavern with Vassiliki and her mother Mina. I go there whenever I am in Mykonos. Very happy to have found this authentic Greek taverna is still here on the boulevard. All the restaurants next door try to be trendy, but this is real Greek. Yes, it is not fast and maybe not fitting in the modern lean and green menus,...but it is really very good. We had lunch here. Everything is fresh: keftedes, Greek salad and especially the feta from the oven was delicious.More

Very basic place … simple menu and drinks .. the attraction is the prices which seem like a throw back, rather than 2022. Nice for a quick drink etc and great view of the harbour, but I don’t think you would have a prolonged stay...here ..More

Stopped here for a drink, view is amazing right on the front in the town though the restaurant is basic maybe hence the price. For the view alone it is well worth calling for a drink or snack. Half a litre of wine is £7:50...and a large beer is £5. Very very cheap for Mykonos town and the front.More

Stopped here every lunch for a drink and decided to eat here in the evening. We had a meze and all the food was excellent. All hot, brought at the same time, staff lovely, house wine good, and a fantastic location on the old harbour...sea front. If we had stayed in Mykonos longer we would have eaten here again without a doubt.More

This place is fantastic. Right on the seafront. Very reasonable prices, great service, great food. We went there every day. It’s brilliant.

Yialos offers great, honest, pure food for very affordable prices compared to their more pretentious neighbours. Besides, the hosts are lovely and make you feel welcomed and at home. I’d highly recommend eating here for a more local, true to Greek culture/cuisine experience!

Genuine Greek local products that are balanced and well combined. Friendly staff made it a really pleasant dinner.

If you look for something cheaper but with same quality as surrounding restaurants this one is to go. Definitely try the fried cheese (Saganaki).

The food is okay. It is cheaper than the restaurants around and the view is worth it. Their menu is small and some fish/seafood are frozen.
