Great location, food and service. We return every year to Mykonos and always make sure we go to Alegro at least once and usually more! Authentic Greek restaurant and food - excellent quality and good prices.
Our tour guide recommended this during our tour, so when we headed back to Mykonos town the next day, we visited this place - plus it's easy to find since it's located close to the water. Food was excellent - we had mostly pasta dishes...and they were the perfect portions. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a good place to sit, so we could people watch while enjoying our food at the same time. At the end of the main meal, our waitress gave us home made tiramisu on the house - and it was sooo good! I wish we could have more, but were afraid to ask. Excellent place!More
We had come back from visiting the uninhabited island Delos and we’re looking for a bite to eat. We found quite a bit more here. Our wait staff were very friendly -Aristo and I do not remember our waitress’ name but they both made us...feel like family. Aristo was kind enough to teach some Greek. Dad and I got the rack of lamb special which we were instructed “ fingers only” by Aristo. It was the perfect end to our day in Mykonos before heading back to cruise ship. I will share some pictures as well. I would highly recommend this waterside jewel.
We stopped for a creamy latte first thing in the morning and returned for lunch. Mykonos salad (local ingredients) and lightly battered / fried calamari did not disappoint. Seems like everything is shuttering down for the season!
Picked this for the location and atmosphere but got SO MUCH MORE. This food was life changing (I have to move here now just for the Alegro salad)...honestly my favorite meal so far. I wasn’t really feeling the bread course so I got a little...concerned- not to worry, moments later they brought the Alegro Salad and the fried anchovies 🤤 (think- meatiest, fresh fish stick EVUH!!), absolutely delightful and filling. AND THEN!!! They bring the mains- smoked salmon spaghetti for me and shrimp with ouzo sauce for my wife....you are going to have to roll me outta here and I. DO. NOT. CARE. Worth every nickel and then some. The atmosphere and location definitely don’t disappoint and great service an added bonus but the food...THE FOOD- amazing.More

Happy Anniversary! What a wonderful place to celebrate. This area can be a little busy and somewhat windy depending on the time of year. It makes for great people watching but if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle you may want to consider another option.
