Bakalo was a favourite last time I was in Mykonos and was glad to see that it was still open and doing a roaring trade this time around. We were greeted by Yanis, a delightful guy who, even after 2 years, remembered us as the boys from Melbourne. The service is fast, friendly and the food memorable and of great... More

Bakalo is a homey and cozy place to have dinner at; I chose it for my birthday dinner to celebrate with my partner and food was amazing! A combination of traditional greek cuisine with a contemporary touch, great quality and friendly staff! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful there and make your dining experience something to remember. Do not miss... More

Friendly staff and very good food in an intimate space. Very well prepared. Right as you enter the town. We would return.

We arrived late with no reservation, the restaurant was still full but we were seated inside with drinks until a table became available 15 minutes later. Service was friendly and efficient, the waiter had great recommendations for us. For entree we shared the cycladic cheese dumplings and the bread and dips - delicious. For mains, we decided upon the moussaka... More

We went there our first night in Mykonos because we were advised in our hotel, and we were a bit surprised about the price. 106 eur for two appetizer and two main course, plus some house wine and a water was a bit too much. After this we realize you don't need to pay so much to eat (better) in... More

We enjoyed a dinner at this little restaurant. It's easy to miss as it is quite understated. The food was good Greek with a bit of a twist and the staff were warm and welcoming.

I would say fusion cuisine. A mix of Greek, oriental cuisine, various different tastes and aromas involved. Every single dish...just delicious!!!

This is a delicious and understated venue. You would walk straight past in your way to the centre. The detail and attention to finish in the decor is simply stunning, it catches you unaware. The food style is home-cooked Greek food you just enjoy, it is so tasty and the thought that goes into the menu and service style really... More

Newly born Greek Eatery in downtown Mykonos, Bakaló is a casual chic diner with retro decorative touches reminiscent of a Greek bistro of a bygone era but with modern flair.
