Delicious and simple Mexican food with people-watching!

We were recommended to go here by a Greek local. The food was great, the owner was lovely and the location is sweet, in a little old town alley way with Plenty of people-watching opportunities. The waitress lacked hospitality skills but we didn’t really mind because the food was tasty, the wine was good and we weren’t there for her company, we entertained ourselves!

Small nice restaurant

Though not authentic Mexican restaurant, it is still very good. Many Mexican entrees along with some Indonesian choices. They made good efforts to satisfy our vegetarian requirements. Taste and service were good.

Great restaurant! Have to stop in to see Takis! We had a great experience off the ship!!!! Great roadies too so we could walk and shop!

Good food, annoying host

We were offered a table on the terrace, and service appeared good. The head waiter/manager appeared distracted with other tables. We made an additional order for a side dish, which through miscommunication was incorrectly delivered. We were offered to send it back by the waitress, however the manager dashed back to our table, cleared the middle of the table, and placed it there, bullying us into accepting this order, and that the original item we ordered was not available and insisting that it was the dish we had ordered. We expect good customer service and we are not a difficult group. Food was good, but this service is disappointing and offensive. They had the nerve to ask us for a tip...

Best Margaritas in Mykonos!

This restaurant is a Myconian staple, the food is always amazing quality with dishes that have been on the menu for 20 years and interesting daily specials and of course they make the best Margaritas! Definitely deserves a visit we go every year

Mexican feast

The food had many options for vegetarians , vegans and non vegetarians . The nachos , guacamole were a great way to start . The staff was very warm and accommodating .

Prices not on menu very rude manager

Food ok but I ordered wine by the glass as didn’t want a bottle. The only wine on the menu by the glass was house wine at €6. We ordered 6 glasses white and rose. When the bill came we were charged €9 per glass. We raised this with the waiter and the manager came. She said I did not order house wine so they gave us whatever they felt and it was more expensive (and only 125 measures.) Outrageous as no prices on the menu per glass. She was rude, dismissive and refused to take €18 off the bill. Tbh not the money but the principle and she was so rude. I asked her to call the police as I was not prepared to pay the bill for things I didn’t order. She needs lessons in customer care and I would not recommend this to anyone, horrible experience and looks like they make up the prices.

Staggeringly over priced, can buy a bottle of gin in uk for less then what is charged for single g n t, €12, middle winter, maybe 50 quid a drink during summer. Food bla and over priced.

We enjoyed nachos and shared a chicken burrito. House wine was reasonable by the carafe. Nachos was very good but the burrito was dry and pricy at €14. The restaurant has a good local following and had a nice busy atmosphere. We asked for a table for two and we were offered a tiny table with the chair at the edge of a step!!! As most places were closed we accepted. Some balancing required for dinner. We noted other couples all sat at tables for four and two tables for four next to us remained empty during our meal.

We love this Mexican restaurant

We've been here each time we've come to Mykonos, on our way back from one of the Cyclades islands. We like the decor, the atmosphere the food. Price wise, it is Mykons prices obviously. Service was a bit slower this time, but I'm sure it was a one-off. We'll be back!!

Waitress very abrasive

Waitress was very abrasive and would not accommodate even the simplest of changes to the menu, including those with respect to food allergies were met with ‘we cannot do’. These were simple asks, like a de-constructed burrito or to have ingredients on the side. I’m not sure these views are a true reflection of ownership; but, they should certainly revaluate and train the staff on service principles. We would not recommend this establishment. I’m addition, service was very slow and lacked general awareness of patrons needs. (Ie. Need to order), the restaurant itself was not crowded. Very sad to see, as I had high hopes for this food on the island.

Lovely location, delicious food

Was looking for another restaurant but were too hungry to keep looking so chanced it here, so glad we did. Lovely staff really nice black hummus to start, I had sword fish as main delicious and partner had spicy burger which she loved. House rose was dry so perfect for us, must be good as booked next night to go back

Went in here for drinks only advertised happy hour 7pm-8pm 1 drink plus l Ordered 2 sangria at 7 euros charged 14 euros no happy hour here the sangria was terrible The lady was very rude told our friends to avoid

A great Mexican and not only restaurant

Apaloosa is a beautiful restaurant with very nice atmosphere and great music. The food is really delicious, whether you choose Mexican, international or Asian. The owners and the people working there are very nice and polite. Also for the ones coming to Mýkonos during the winter, they will find Apaloosa open for most of the week days!
