This is the disastrous bar you read about. We had a really shocking experience this year. We arrived around 6pm. It was empty, unlike the other great bars in Little Venice like Scarpa. We sat on the small balcony. Shortly, we were joined by another...traveller. The balcony is about 2 metres x 1 metre so in a Covid environment, our two parties were enough for the small space. We ordered a margarita. It was terrible. Limited alcohol. Mostly lime juice. We had to order shots of tequila to rebalance the drink. We had barely finished the drink when the manager/owner came outside and told us to make room for other people on the balcony. We were stunned. There was no-one in sight. We challenged him and he said we had to make room for future customers that may come. We asked why he would cram more people onto the balcony in a Covid environment. He got very impatient and firmly told us to make room. It was just gobsmacking and totally irresponsible. We paid our bill and left immediately. I will never set foot in this restaurant and encourage you to do the same. If you want a great bar in Little Venice, find somewhere other than here.More

We came to this place about 6 times on our short stay in Mykonos. John who owns the bar is so nice. The cocktails are amazing and strong - the food is better than the other restaurants close by - vegan and vegetarian options too....The prawns were amazing but most of all the view over the water is so stunning, we couldn’t get enough. Disco tunes were great and the atmosphere was amazing every night. 10/10 highly recommend coming here on your trip to Mykonos. ❤️More

I've been coming to mykonos since 1983 and this place is a must. The perfect location in little Venice for watching the sunset. Dinner was superb. Try the Baklava. Then upstairs to DJ Costas who plays the best Rock tunes on the island. Try a...cocktail. Sublime. Great way to spend an evening. Mykonos may have changed a lot since 1983, but Katerina's is still top. I visit here every time I visit the island. Enjoy. You might be lucky enough to see Katerina herself. She's famous. She's the first ever lady sea captain in Greece.More

Stumbled upon Katerina’s by accident after actually booking into a neighbouring restaurant who gave away our reservation! But in a case of true serendipity we are glad we did! Sat on the balcony of the restaurant with unbeatable Little Venice water and sunset views (...they really are incredible ). Food was good but service really was outstanding. Despite having the best table in the house, we were never once rushed or made to feel like we were taking up space that could be used for more paying guests ( something Mykonos is notorious for ). Thoroughly recommend making a reservation at Katerina’s not just for drinks but dinner too.More

It is the third time we have come to Mykonos and for the third time we have come to dinner here. We booked months in advance, to have a table on the terrace and eat while watching the sunset, so much so that, at the...entrance, our name was the first on the list of reservations for the evening. Inexplicably, the girl who welcomed us made us sit on the third-floor balcony, from which the view of the sea was obstructed by the curtains and the whole show was losing a lot. I asked to be moved to one of the lower floors, but the girl firmly refused, saying we could not choose where to sit despite the three months of booking time. Back on the third floor, the waitress Dimitra intercepted that something was wrong and took a lot of interest in resolving the situation: after 5 minutes, we were on the floor I wanted, very close to the sea and with a breathtaking view, which left our three nephews, who were traveling with us, excited and open-mouthed. Without the waiter's courtesy, our last evening of vacation would have been ruined. Thanks to Dimitra for such kindness! The food was very good - as usual - the service accurate and the bill, while not exactly cheap, absolutely adequate for the quality and quantity of our choice of dishes, and for the location. An unmissable place in Mykonos!More

I booked Katerina’s after reading the reviews and my goodness it did not disappoint! The first evening we went we were sat on the downstairs balcony and it was a magical setting. The food was incredible and the staff couldn't do enough for us -...they were delightful. We were so impressed we rebooked for last night and it was even better if possible! Sat on the upstairs balcony watching the sunset was definitely a holiday highlight. I'd highly recommend the seafood risotto, rib eye and sea bream. It was also the only place on the island I found good wine at a reasonable price! Definitely don't miss out on this absolute gem.More
