Disappointing

We stopped in here for a drink as the décor looked interesting - and there was sport on TV. Although it wasn't very busy the service was slow, the guy behind the bar was distinctly unfriendly and the beer was the worst we had during our holiday. We had thought about going there for a meal but after... read more

Stumbled upon this bar whilst out for an evening stroll and then went there every evening of our holiday.Didn't realise at first that it was British - i suppose the football screens should have given us a clue. We usually avoid these places like the plague. The bar has an excellent location in a side street just off the seafront. The... More

Just stopped in for drinks as they had a singer on the terrace. They seem to have 2 acts each night and the place seemed very popular . Drinks reasonably priced.

Visited here for lunch, the bar looked clean and presentable, there were no people outside trying to get you to come in unlike the rest of the street, so this appealed to us ! My daughter had a spaghetti bolognaise which was like a frozen ready meal. My wife had a toasted cheese and onion sandwich, again low quality. Other... More

The Colonial stands out as they don´t have staff that try to pull you in from the street and they are always busy. First time there was great so we returned twice more, for three very different experiences. Both the attitude of the waitresses and the quality of the food varied a lot. Starting with the food, the mussels in... More
