House hunting in the area, we had been recommended to come to this country pub. We'd also driven past their large full car park - always a good sign. We booked and the barmaid worked out who we were and asked us to confirm -...More

Had a great meal yesterday for late lunch, service was good and quality of meals were good too and prices were reasonable - no one could eat a Sweet / pudding after the main meals - the choice was adequate.

Been here a few times before I moved away from the area and it's always been really good. Very much like its sister pub, the Hand and Trumpet, but unfortunately I've had one or two bad dishes here, most recently on a birthday meal where...More

I have been a few times and always had good food and service, in winter when snow is on the ground its a lovely heaven with its real fires and warm wood. The prices are really competitive and a treat that is totally affordable.

dogs are frequent welcome visitors to the Combermere Arms. The pub is also blessed with extensive garden and terrace areas to enjoy the fine food and drinks on offer (weather permitting)

Hello Karen. We don't have high chairs (sorry) and we don't have a children's menu. What we can do is child size portions of meals. Usually we talk through what the young one like to eat and chef makes something for them.
