Not a great place and to be honest the food was very poor and not good quality. They even served our chips burnt, I would avoid.More

Very sorry to hear you felt this way. We wish that you had aired your concerns at the time rather than leave a poor review against the trend of the rest. The chips would not of been burnt and lots of people come a long...More

We dined at the highlander for dinner last Thursday evening. The selection of food available was varied, something for many tastes. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and the service was efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend the baileys cheesecake, it was luscious.

We ate here twice as a family of 5 whilst on holiday mid- late September. We found it randomly as it’s like a little hidden gem. The food was fab and the service was amazing, such a lovely couple. Definitely worth a visit, they only...took over in November 2019 then Covid came along and they had to close down for 3-4 months so have had it tough, but are open with smiles on there faces, superb food and great pricesMore

Seen the advertised Steak Night so Visited with friends, so pleased We Did, superb steak and only 10 euros with all the trimmings, cooked perfectly , amazing value. If we hadn't booked a diving lesson at the Atlantis school next door we probably would never have come across the place as we were staying at the other end of the resort. But so glad we did as it's literally a stones throw from...the start of the popular walk to puerto calero so we went a few times . If its just a refreshing drink in a nice quiet setting you want, a much welcomed Irish Breakfast (Others available but the black pudding alone was worth the trek) or a good choice of main meal then you can't go wrong. My husband ordered a medium cod and ended up with a fish so big on his plate that loch ness may be missing a monster, god knows what the large cod looked like. We also got a great deal of buy one get one half price on all mains but even at full price the food was worth it. The service is good too and the covid practices spot on. And a plus is the book swap if you run out of something to read.More

Lovely people, lovely food, great, safe, setting for the children. We ate here several times during our holiday and could not fault the service or the food, fantastic breakfast and evening meals were even better than breakfast if that's possible.

Wow, after visiting here for several years, this is the first visit since Nikki and Simon have taken over and we were not disappointed, we ate here on several occasions and the food is great and very reasonably priced, we stayed for drinks after all...our meals and the service is superb, really friendly couple who take time out to sit and have a chat, here’s hoping they go from strength to strength, keep up the good work and we will see you soon 😃More

We arrived direct from our flight very late at night just as they were shutting down. The team fired up the grill and fed us. The food was outstanding and the service was so friendly even though we kept them late. Homemade chips are out...of this world!More

Your apartment is roughly 1.4 km from The Highlander II, probably about a half hour walk. Well worth a few visits, you could always jump a taxi, and ask for the Centro Montana Tropical old Town, enjoy.
