If you are visiting Vilvoorde, you should know that the inhabitants of Vilvoorde are known as 'horse-eaters'. Although this might sound barbaric to some, if you are open to experience 'steak' in a different way, you should pay a visit to this Excellent Steak House. It is not big, but it is very cosy and the atmosphere is very jovial.... More

I used to really like it, but in winter it is freezing cold when you are stuck near the window (and with our luck we of course were sat just there) and last time we had to return our meat - it was cold inside!

Is a small and simple place, 60' stile, decorated with a few horse pictures on the walls. The meat is really delicious: it was so tender that my knife was cutting butter. The prices are also good considering what you get. If you like horse meat, is a must

Sometimes we come here to have some great horse meat (not so easy to find in Brussels) and we're always satisfied. Small and old fashioned flemish place. A little creepy the pictures of horses on lawns hanging on the walls...but the meat is super!

friends wanted to surprise me with a dinner in this horsesteak restaurant. I do not eat horse meat! the place is very simpel decorated, fast and furious service..loaded and we had to wait a longtime to get a small Table. Fortunately I could order a porkchop which was good. French fries and mayonnaise, simple salad...what could one do wrong here?... More

One of the two best restaurants to go to if u enjoy a good horse steak. About a pound of steak on your plate, add to that a bowl of salad, a portion of french fries adn a good bottle of wine, what more could anyone that enjoys eating well desire? Prices are decent, figure about 30€ p.p. for a... More

small restaurant but with lots of ambiance! Very tasteful horsemeat, fresh French fries.... Be entertained by the owner, but be prepared for some good laughs!

If you want a great piece of meat you will love it here. There are no frills, you pay for high quality meat and no faff. Its not cheap by most restaurant standards but its really cheap for a big tenderloin (the only cut they serve). Horse meat for those who haven't had it I would describe as somewhere between... More

At first glance the restaurant looks bizarre. It probably hasn't been renovated since the 1960s. Inside there are beautiful paintings of Belgian Draft Horses and empty horse harnesses hanging from the wall. Previous clients must have eaten them. It is definitely a no frills place. But if you want a good horse steak and fries at a reasonable price, no... More
