Sallamangee is a cosy small and folksy restaurant in Vilvoorde. It is easy to get passed by, as it is somewhat hidden in town. Staff is very friendly, and on the menu you'll find some typical belgian dishes, as well as an excellent burger.

For a nice selection of typical Belgian food, this is the place to be. Lovely horse steak, boulettes, "ossetong"..... And so on.
The owner is specialising now in self made sausages, with certified meat.
The selection board has nice suggestions, and renews frequently.
