Our restaurant is based on the tradition of Czech beer and traditional Czech cuisine with traditional recipes from our ancestors. Sitting on our outdoor garden and glazed terrace provides view to one of the oldest stone bridges in Europe (13th century), the historic royal city walls and malt.

This restaurant has a good location, a menu that specifies whether the dish has gluten. Generally speaking the staff is professional and efficient. The food is great and at a good price. This restaurant is clean and stylish. They have a terrace with a great view to the river. Be sure to come early before lunch so as not to miss out on a delicious panna cotta.

We had dinner with some coworkers, and the restaurant lived up to expectations. The food is acceptable, it is the typical Czech restaurant to try local cuisine. The price is reasonable, the service was very attentive, and the best thing is that they have plenty of space between tables to respect the privacy of the diners.

The restaurant was packed on Saturday evening. The friendly waitress asked if I could make it in about an hour as she had a reservation for the last table available, a high table with barstools in a corner with view on the bar.
I had the beef broth to start with. It was one of the better beef broths I have had so far. Strong taste, plenty of beef: exactly the way I want it.
Then I had the pork schnitzel as a main. The potato salad was really light and fresh. Not the habitual heavy mayo thing. Schnitzel was excellent. Tender pork and crispy outside.
Even the coffee turned out to be good.
All waiting staff was very friendly and service went really quick. I had the luck of observing the bar staff for an hour. They’re always busy. Never a moment that they wait for something to happen.
I certainly come back here next time I’m in Pisek.

Wonderful restaurant, amazing beer. The servers let our large group hang out and occupy a space for hours even though we were more than 30 minutes late for our reservation. Very little English but had menus in English to make it easier to order. Very pleasant waitstaff. Great, great beer - looks like brewed onsite.

Eating here regularly few times in a month, appreciate consistent quality of food and service. Very kind staff, quick food delivery. Well balanced menu, affordable prices. Can be a bit busy in lunch time. Good value for money.

Everything clean and good quality food. Enjoyed. We ordered tartar and sirloin with knedles. Tartar -good. Meat was also perfect it’s just if you don’t like well-done meat might be not your thing.

This restaurant was beyond our expectations. The location is more than handy as it’s located right next to the famous bridge. The interior is really nice and well decorated. Staff was kind and really quick, they didn’t mess up our order and food was delivered quite quickly.
The food was amazing. It was warm, well seasoned and well cooked. Prizes are okay, they’re not cheap but it doesn’t go beyond the normal prize of restaurants (compared to other restaurants in PĂsek).

A young place on the banks of the Otava, with nice "goat"-themed interiors and a glazed patio; the summer dinner on the outdoor terrace, overlooking the ancient stone bridge and the historic city walls, was overall pleasant.
The restaurant is based on the tradition of beer and tasty Czech cuisine.

On a fine spring day, with a whopping 20 degrees, both terraces were closed. Inside, there was not any air conditioning, resulting in a loud, stuffy, unpleasant atmosphere. The doors were not even open, which hinted at the general carelessness of the place. The staff was neither obliging nor pleasant, which added to the daunting conditions present. I will definitely avoid this restaurant in the future, unless this radically changes for the better.

Wow. We were visiting Pisek Czech Republic and just happened to stop at this restaurant for lunch. What a treat. I have been visiting the Czech Republic for the past 15 years and this has to be the “best” restaurant I have ever seen here. The service was top of the line (excellent). The food was exceptional. The beer was Pilsner Urquel on draft which is one of the best beers in the world. I have had it even in San Francisco and Miami. Easy parking. Clean bathrooms. This place is a “must” stop when in or near Pisek Czech Republic. We will be back.

Very nice meal here. Delicious duck, deer and salad. Here you can also drink fresh Kozel from the barrel. You see the barrels in the shop. A very nice place with a terrace, veranda and interior space.

Very nice place for food and drinks. Had lunch here. Good Czech food of meat gravy and dumplings. Good beer and wine. We all enjoyed our meal. Clean bathrooms. Easy parking. Not too expensive. Recommend. Will return.

Really fast especially the lunch menu which is only available in CZech (I used Google Translate to figure it out) excellent Kozel Pilsner on draft, they have a big tank, so it’s super fresh. Nice view of the old town.
