Lovely waffles, actually most delicious. Nice outside deck to sit on with the breeze from the lagoon. Prices are very affordable.
Only disappointment was that they were not pet friendly, as I read on the pet friendly restaurant google listings.
Our first visit to The imfamous Waffle House! We weren't disappointed! I could tell they'd used fresh ingredients, and that the waffles were cooked immediately upon ordering. Not only were the waffles to die for, but the setting and scenery worth a trip on their...own! Definitely a place to go if you're down that way!More
I can not count how many times I've been to the Waffle house and I'm still to have a bad experience. The food and service is always great. It is a place I always recommend for anyone visiting the South coast.
An institution on the Ramsgate beachfront that has to be included on any visit to the Hibiscus Coast. Prepare to queue... And to enjoy whatever you order from the wide selection of both savoury and sweet waffles.
We were looking forward to the experience especially the kids. We came early because we saw the q's the day before. Was 3rd family in. Our waiter Bongani took our drinks order after rudely telling me they dont have ice tea. The 3 families before...us got their drinks and waffles before our drinks even made it to the table. Then my husband's coffee was wrong and cold. We asked for the correct one. I eventually asked another waiter if we could please just get out food as it seemed our waiter forgot about us. Waffles were good. A little pricy for the size but it tasted fantastic! Just so very disappointed that the service ruined our experience.More
Legendary restaurant that we visited for the first time this month at our new holiday home town Ramsgate.
This is a well run machine.
The staff are efficient and friendly, service is good and the waffles are great from savory to sweet.
It is a...welcome change from the seafood themed restaurants on this little coastal town.
Well worth a visitMore
We stayed at margate and drove to waffle house on the way to the Wild Coast Sun.
It was a beautiful overcast morning and after the lockdown heartwarming to see businesses abiding by rules for level 2.
Our names and temp were recorded and social...distancing was observed on the premises. Its sad that they have to halve their daily takings just to abide by the rules but south africans are grateful that this income although limited is appreciated.
The options for kiddies are well thought out and so lovely. My grandson aged 3 enjoyed a little soldiers and scrambled eggs and a bar one milkshake.
We did not partake of any meat due to halaal reasons.
We loved the the veg options. We ordered the haloumi and avo options as well as mixed veg curry served beautifully with sambals papads and fresh bananas.
The others had sweet options like bannofee, choc chip and ice cream. Lovely ambiance and nature walks curios art gallery.
A great outing enjoyed by all. A must when on south coast route.
Thank u waffle house for a lovely brekkie.More
