Had a fab weekend at the Cottage of Content. Fellow Coeliacs will know how challenging and predictable eating out can be. It was a delight at the Cottage as so much of the menu I could eat. Lamb with mint mash was delicious with Eton Mess to follow, washed down with a lovely bottle of red. Gluten free toast to... More

Recently visited for a meal in honour of my father-in-laws birthday. It was a tuesday evening and we were there early doors, but the place was already abuzz. The staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive. We had a delicious meal from their high quality menu and even a candle accompanied one of the desserts which prompted a... More

Just a perfect little pub, restaurant in the middle of beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Lovely setting with a perfect outside seating area and the inside is equally perfect suitable for all. The drink and food offer is excellent with a varied menu to cater for all tastes and the food itself was excellent and value for money. We had lunch and... More

Went for an evening meal on the spur of the moment. We go here often. Great steak with all the trimmings and super deserts. Nice atmosphere and a good bar.

I have been going to this delightful pub restaurant for 30 years. It has had a few different ownerships, but the current owners, who have been there for 9 years, never fail to present a wonderful menu in a lovely cosy atmosphere. The food is first class - cooked and presented with a standard worthy of more famous and illustrious... More

Two of us booked a table for 9pm on Saturday evening and had a very enjoyable dinner. Making a booking at 9pm and the restaurant being fairly busy we were expecting a reasonable wait to be served. We were greeted immediately, sat and our drinks were with us within 3 or 4 minutes. We were given menus and maybe waiting... More

Beautiful location, beautiful garden, lovely olde-worlde inside, polite attentive staff, good atmosphere, great beer, lovely wine. The lamb dish was sublime - I think I can say that it was the tastiest dish I have ever eaten. My partner had the chicken which was delicious too. While we sat in the front beer garden we couldn't think of a better... More

We were at the a cottage today for part of my 40th birthday celebrations. The restaurant setting and building are lovely, very cute inside. But the food was even better. I had a pork belly meal and was so glad I chose it - genuinely the best meal I've eaten out in I don't know how long. Just perfect. Touches... More

This olde worlde pub was spotlessly clean and set in idyllic surroundings. It started off with a wait for our first drinks and when they came the order was wrong. The evening menu was different which i like but my father likes plainer food. if you are looking for pub grub like fish and chips, pie and mash this is not... More
