We visited this restaurant because of the good reviews as a family of 4 staying at a nearby hotel. Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. It took 40 minutes between us arriving and getting a drink. We shared 2 starters and our...request for side plates was ignored, we aren’t usually bothered but we had ordered a salad which is hard to share without plates. When the food arrived (two green curries and two massaman) it was all lukewarm at best and the rice was cold. We probably should have sent it back but we didn’t want to wait another 30 mins. It was a shame as the taste was quite good. The staff were friendly but they just need better training/more of them.More

Perhaps our expectations were set a little too high previous reviews have been very good which is why we chose the restaurant. Had dinner here last night. Beautiful location , service at front desk was lovely, we received a very warm welcome, service in the...restaurant not quite so good. I did not know what one of the Thai dishes was from the description of the ingredients listed on the menu , I asked what it was and was just quoted back the ingredients. Not really that helpful. Ordered it anyway as a starter , very spicy but tasty. Ordered 2 main courses, the chicken dish was very tasty but lukewarm, we ate it but would have preferred the dish to be served hot. The beef dish - massaman curry was cold and inedible, we did not eat any of it at all. Mentioned it to the lady who served us, however no offer was made to warm it up. Received the bill, with the dish still charged .I’m very sorry but I asked for the massaman curry to be removed as it was not edible. I don’t actually think I have ever done that before in a restaurant! This was done without complaint. Thank you. All in all, disappointing food , disappointing service for this type of establishment . I was so looking forward to dining here as the other reviews have been very good. I would not return or recommend, sadly. To end this review on positive note though, they kindly gave us a lift back to our hotel, thank you, this was appreciated.More

Awesome setting - clean and high quality Asian food- just random walked in and were welcome like a hotel guest

We were staying at Koyao Island Resort and thought we would eat at the Pum Pui restaurant too often ... well we ended up eating there more than expected! The food quality was excellent! The staff waiting on the tables were attentive. They have a...small but tasty wine menu and they offer a very generous and delicious tasting platter for two. Highly recommend Pum PuiMore

Very well-presented and enjoyable dishes with great views of the Krabi coastline. A nice extra were the Thai craft beers they had available.
