Today I was looking in Bordeaux for a gift for the family and after hearing the fame of the Mi Cielo pastry shop, in the Le Bouscat neighborhood, I stopped by there, from where I brought home several excellent sweets that we devoured with delight. But I want to make a special mention of their Banoffee cake. Its balanced and subtle mix of flavors has been quite an experience. Highly recommended for sweet lovers who want to experience something new.

I followed the reviews to bring dessert to my family for lunch. Very nice surprise, the cakes are excellent, without preservatives, not too sweet of great finesse. Impeccable storage after 1h30 of corks on the burgundy ring road in an insulated bag with ice loaves as recommended on the site. J lives in Pau but regularly goes up to Charente Maritime, the detour is well worth it. Next time, I'll order a big cake.

The pastries are original and sublime, made with fresh, seasonal products. Everything is homemade and with love. Chef Diego regularly creates new creations that are as good as each other.

Aficionados of fine pastries from various Parisian spots. Mi Cielo was recommended to us during our next visit to Bordeaux. That's it - and done well! An exceptional pastry: no artificial colorings, no gelatin, a small, super-smiling and passionate international team. The lemon mint tart is exquisite, the toffee apple a delight, the Paris Brest voluptuous, just like the Tiramicielo. The Nuage vanilla peanuts an explosion of textures and subtle and delicate flavors, the Poire Noël with incredible balance. And as for the cookies, we are coming back to stock up a little before our return to Paris…!!

We discovered this pastry when we arrived in Bordeaux 4 years ago and it immediately became a must! Their pastries are varied, delicious, and at very reasonable prices when you can imagine all the work that goes into it. Chef Diego offers new products for each event (Christmas, New Year, etc.) and it is always a success. But our big favorite: the unbeatable banoffee with its homemade dulce de leche 😋

Extraordinary pastry: very little sugar, no gelatin, no preservatives, a very fine pastry, refined flavors. We discovered this pastry shop by chance when it opened a few years ago and since then the quality is still incredible, and the desserts so wonderful. For us, it is the best in Bordeaux.

Everything is just simply “wow”… the welcome, the products, the variety, the originality of the saveurs, the fact that EVERYTHING is made fresh that day and they don’t use any artificial Colors or sweeteners. I have tried many of the different cakes and everything is delicious but a special mention to the cheesecake and the Miss Hielo Caramelo :)

I visited Bordeaux with my husband and we stopped by for pastries in this shop. It is incredibly lovely and very lively. The pastries are so delicious and light. You will never want to put down your spoon because they are addictive. The chef and his wife who are the owners of the shop make you feel like you are truly stepping into their home. There is nothing like this place in the city.
Mi Cielo has the best French desserts I've ever tried.
And believe me, I've try many other before.
I was there with friends and we order many desserts to share.
All of them were like angels in my mouth.
The choux is unbelieveble: soft and crunch at the same time.
I haven't liked Saint Honoré until a tried Mi Cielo's Saint Honoré
I totally recomend this place.
I can't wait to go back in Bordeaux just to go there!

Every pastrylover who has been to Paris, when searching for pastry boutiques in Bordeaux may be a little disappointed with the variety of options. However, Mi Cielo easily makes us forget about Paris and it makes clear that quality is way better than quantity. Not only their pastries are divine and very equilibrated, but they are also made with fresh ingredients and no foodcoloring. And, as if all this was not enough already, the owners are adorable and the chef takes all the time we need to explain the desserts. The café is small and cozy, perfect for a coffee with a delicious pastry. As a pastry student, I did try some and they were all awesome, my favourites were choco cacahuète and mokaccino. To die for! A must go place to all those who enjoy eating good and quality food in an adorable environment.

In our visit to Bordeux we decided to visit Mi Cielo, we heard of the amazing desserts they have and we decided to give it a try. The place is very cozy and as we walked in we were greeted by one of the owners, Blanca, who gave us a detailed description of what the each cake had. We tried the Mango Passion Fruit Cheesecake and the Raspberry tart. My husband told her it was my birthday and they wrote a little happy birthday in my cake (what a nice gesture). Both desserts were to die for, the flavors are so intense and delicious it literally melt in my mouth. We were so happy to come and experience these delicious desserts.
