Visited again after a two year hiatus, and rain again forced us off the lovely terrace with the stunning view. The food was still exceptional. We shared a goat cheese salad, with fried balls of goat cheese and slices of Granny Smith apple, different and...better than what was anticipated. I had a fine sea bass with great accompaniments of mushrooms, spinach and circular fried potato cakes. GF had spicy shrimp and they were nice and spice, with rice to sop up the excess sauce. Service was good even with multiple changes of tables due to the rainMore

We arrive around 2pm, personnels try not to served us. Really not sympathetic at all, we see that they try to work the less possible. Swimming pool is not at all (small place to go in the water) The lying seat around are uncomfortable! Very...expensive for what it is. View wonderful yes indeed. But I should avoid the place. The owner should do something, be called boutique is a certain class …More

Beautiful setting small restaurant good devise and excellent food. The ribs were incredible. The Thai soup appetizer incredible and the local beef stew when you add a little of the spicy natural peppers they serve is the best meal on the island. Sorry it is...our last night. Would eat here again and again. Cannot recommend more highly and I have eaten all over the worldMore

This was one of the best meals we had on the island. The setting is beautiful - a boutique hotel with a striking view of a distant lagoon.

One of our favourite spots to visit and gaze at the fantastic view on Santa Martha Bay. This time we came for lunch. Staff is very friendly, but service is very slow and should be more proactive. After we had lunch and a drink, I...asked for the menu to order more drinks (I would've appreciated this being ask as a question). After looking at the menu, nothing happened and staff was focussed on catering to new guests. I would assume that if a guest asks for the menu and says he wants to order another drinks, gets a follow-up for ordering that drink. In the end, my wife walked in to settle the bill and we left. That could've been additional revenue. So despite our lunch being very good, the slow service has influenced my final rating.More

This is a quiet restaurant with a lovely view, and it's definitely worth a stop. The bon bini drink is layered and tastes fabulous, and the staff was very, very friendly and accommodating. The food was quite good, although it wasn't my favorite meal on...the island.More

I had a lovely lunch. I asked for the coolest table and was seated inside in a spot that caught the breezes -- delightful. The building is charmingly appointed. The chicken stew was delicious, the service very friendly. Definitely stop by if you're in the...area.More

This restaurant was by far the best restaurant we dined at in Curacao. From the incredible view from the dining porch to cocktails< Bon Bimi, a work of art and delicious, to service to meeting the owner and chef were all excellent. We were so...impressed we purchased a gift certificate for the owners of Lagun Blou ,who recommended we dine here, as a going away gift. Highly recommend you wont be disappointed. We were there to celebrate a special birthday for someone in our group of 4. We reviewed the menu prior to arriving and when we got there, the menu had been changed that day, and what we were wanting to have, was no longer available...and staff didn’t seem to know what was on the menu. We had a number of servers come to the table, but none really took care of us, or kept track of what we had ordered. We found the staff were confused all night.More

Charming view but highly forgettable food. I ordered the mini Birgers due to another review and they were dry and uninspiring. Hard bread and minced meat, no spices or vegetables. The whole lunch meny is very basic. Probably a nice place to stay over though.

We stayed here for some nights to kick off our stay in Curacao. The location is great, incl. a great view of St. Martha Bay and a nice area for chilling. However, we noticed the following: - not all staff speak English, one waitress even...stopped serving us (and even stopped greeting us for the rest of our stay). One local guy in the restaurant was great though, funny, attentive, on point, just a good waiter - rooms are quite dark and the windows are small. If you are sensible to noises at night, keep in mind that there are many barking dogs and the sound of the wind - the restaurant, incl. breakfast, is extremely pricey - check out was a catastrophe. Our bill was wrong and we were treated really disrespectfully by the staff on duty - the main light in our room didn’t work throughout our stay (you would expect cleaning Staff to notice and communicate appropriately) - no hot water in the shower (only warm but not hot) Nevertheless, We had a nice and enjoyable stay there.More

This may be my new favorite place! Bummed I didn't discover it on previous visits. A hidden gem as it were. If you are in Curacao with a car definatly put this resturant on your list. I recomend breakfast or lunch and enjoy the view....You see the ocean in the distance, lovely view of the hills and water of Santa Martha area. This review is for the resturant only not the hotel. I only had one dish and coffee but it was delicous and true to the island. It comes with the usual island good hospitailty but laid back/slow vibe but who would want to rush away from the view! You can sit on the front porch for one view, the back near the plunge pool for shade and another view or inside the open air restored plantation house. I struggle between the desitre to sit in the comfy chairs by the bookshelf or on the front patio. Enjoy!More
