I've known this bar for a long time and have never been disappointed.
Excellent breakfast and pastries.
The aperitif is plentiful and tasty, both the simple one and the reinforced one (similar to a dinner).
The staff is polite and helpful.
I even ordered a birthday cake including delivery and everything was punctual and impeccable.

We arrived in Nicolosi mid-afternoon during siesta time, yet Bar Bonanno came to the rescue, easing our rumbling tummies with lovely Arancini and pasta ragu. The food was delicious and not expensive. It was served very quickly too. Really good coffee also.
Their ice-creams and desserts looked very special, perhaps we'll stop by again soon.

Terrible service at the counter. Went on Sunday evening to have a diner with family members, I pay in advance and wait longer than necessary only to be overtaken by other customers who arrived after me. I point out the situation and an attendant at the counter addresses me in a threatening and insolent tone.
Concerned about the expression and style with which I am greeted, I continue to wait until another counter clerk decides to pack my order and I leave.

The Bonanno bar is a must for our holiday in Nicolosi, not only for the goodness of the products but for the courtesy of the whole Bonanno family.
I had breakfast with the delicious pistachio and almond granita with the inevitable brioches, what about the excellent arancini with meat sauce and ice cream cakes to share in dinners at friends' houses.

On holiday in Nicolosi one day for lunch we tried this place and we were pleasantly surprised, we ate exceptional arancini and excellent coffee, clean place, very kind and helpful staff, when we return to Nicolosi we already know where to go for lunch and I recommend it heartily.
