We visited this restaurant on the weekend of Ferrogosto when it is very difficult to find a place to eat without reservations. We ate early and although we were a group of twelve the service was fantastic. Every member of our party enjoyed their food and at the end of the meal were presented with local biscotti and fortified wine.... More

Recommended by tourist information in Nicolosi. A fantastic find in charming surroundings. We went with the fixed price lunch and the owners recommendations. He provided veggie options for half our party which were delicious. Home made lemonade was marvellous. Go if you get the chance.

Hidden on a side street away from the centre of a pitoresq little village on the foot of Mount Etna. We arrived late afternoon and the pizza's were not on the menu yet. Only in the evenings. However we stayed and one friendly gentleman served and cooked for us. The pastas were amazing! Truly tasty and authentic. The draft beer... More

Perfect for a Saturday evening dinner. We had different appetizers and local wine. Kids had a great pizza, tasty from the wood oven. Prices are fair.

We were a party of three people and no one was satisfied with any part of our meal. Pasta sauce like wallpaper paste. Lemon tart that was like school dinners cake. House wine was rough. I can't think of anything which would encourage me to tell others to eat here.

Nice local restaurant. You need to pay attention when looking for the entrance, it is flush with the road and hard to see. Staff are welcoming and quality of the food was 5 star.

Nice pizza and siciliana atmosphere, but service charge is too high. Recommended for more than 3 people.

If you walk down the small lane, you wouldn't expect this big and cosy restaurant. We went here twice, and it was both times completely full with locals. The dishes we had were all delicious and the service was very good. Why not five stars? At least for Italy, such a typical ristorante with great food is nothing very special.... More

This was a recommendation of Lonely Planet and it turned out to be a good one. We were on on our way from Etna to Catania airport, and needed a sustaining meal to get us through our non-catered flights. The restaurant is spacious, well laid-out and with pleasing interior decor. The starters - buffalo cheese salad and bresciola - were... More
