Went to the Hopper for a late lunch yesterday, three logs fires, clean, atmospheric even though quiet. Delicious classic food.

Stayed here for a night and the hotel was very welcoming, £70 for a double room and the price of the food was very attractive. Had a great full English breakfast in the morning too

My friend and I met here for lunch on Friday and had another delicious meal. It's a few months since we last called and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The home made quiche was excellent as was my friend's home made pie and the chips once again were scrummy. Unfortunately we couldn't fit a dessert in but we will be back... More

Visited to celebrate a birthday on a cold wet night. Real fires, lovely décor, friendly staff. Onto the food. Four of us ordered a starter. 3 x Garlic Mushrooms and 1 Prawn Cocktail. No complaints here. The garlic mushrooms were delicious, served on toast. So simple, and sooo yummy. The prawn cocktail was fresh and substantial. Mains were 2 steaks,... More

We stopped by here to grab a big lunch before going for a walk around Fewston resevoir and weren't disappointed. The food was lovely and served in good sized portions, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
