About
At the Riverside kitchen we aim to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with a menu offering good, home cooked pies, quiche, cakes and traybake. Along with freshly made scones every day. All of our menu is available to take away. We also use Pumphreys coffee and hot chocolate along with Northumberland tea and a variety of cold drinks too, including Fentinans and Frobishers. Come along to see for yourself. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Hope to see you soon The Riverside Kitchen team

The cafe was very busy when we arrived, but staff were unruffled and friendly. Great tea and coffee, and I bought a piece of sausage and onion quiche to take away - it was delicious!

What a welcome sight the Riverside kitchen was for two hot and thirsty walkers! Whilst it does not look much from the outside, we entered to receive a friendly welcome and much needed refreshment. Clearly, this is also a favourite with coach tour operators too.

This is only a small place and can be very busy at times, but well worth the visit. My wife and I sat at the last table available at lunchtime and were followed in by a large party of Harley Davidson bikers who ordered and...More
