We had beef brochettes with rice , the quantity of rice was one third of the size of a usual bowl in an Asian restaurant and that was it , two small brochettes and three tablespoons of rice for 15 euros. The soup was 8,50 and again the portion did not merit this price , Flavours were good but would... More

Called here for lunch and enjoyed a very pleasant hour and a half. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the food was well presented and tasty. The service could not be faulted. We will go again.

Our two friends had been in Sete for 3 weeks and had eaten at this restaurant twice so they suggested we all go again. And we did. They were nervous because they chose the previous night's restaurant which was horrible. It can be the kiss of death to recommend somewhere. It was a great experience. The waiter recommended some dishes.... More

I eat everything besides peanuts, I can’t stand them. Vietnamese food is known for including peanuts, so I politely asked the waiter to not include any for me. This resulted in him ridiculing me about the peanut situation at every opportunity (4-5 times). If you enjoy being humiliated, then this is the place for you as the food was actually... More

We had our two best meals in seven days here. And the waiters loved to fool around with our kids. I really recommend this place and I will go back again. The speciality with shrimp was very good.

The staff were pretty grumpy, we figured they were trying to meet some local expectations. The starter was okay, but the mains were heavy on the lettuce and low on flavour. Such a huge variety of wonderful local ingredients to choose from it was impossible to comprehend how it could be so bad.

The food was very good but we were told very sternly that we could not sit where we wanted to. When we asked for water ( normally automatically served in France) we were told very sharply to wait!!!

We chose this restaurant for lunch, having seen the food served here the day before. It was lovely...we took the 9.90 set lunch menu...2 nems, vietnamese salad, sweet and sour pork or chicken, and rice. It was very nicely presented, the service was good and it seemed that plenty of local people were eating there - always a good sign.... More

We had lunch there on a very busy bank holiday in August when they also had a water jousting tournament in the town. Despite the town heaving with people we had very good service and lovely food.It was noticeable that there were lots of locals using this restaurant. The waitress spoke perfect English and was able to give me a... More

We weren't really impressed with Sete at all and having walked along the canal we didn't feel like eating in one of the touristy looking fish restaurants (I'm sure in high season the whole town has a much nicer lively atmosphere - on a wet September evening it was uninspiring). Luckily we happened to walk past Le Jasmin on the... More
