It is hard to know which of the menus to choose on the quay-side strip in Sete but Le JRS served us well. The children's menu was well-priced and offered a good meal, while adult choices were conventional but tasty and attractively presented. Accommodating service.

It's so hard to choose restaurants in France. There are so many. We were walking along by the harbour in Sete looking for a place to eat and we ended up at the Jrs. It turned out to be a memorable meal. The waiter was very helpful but very busy. Several of us opted for the scallops in orange butter... More

Ate lunch in this small but "civilized" quay side restaurant in Sete. Service was amazing, friendly, welcoming and efficient. The chef does things with fish and shellfish that makes your mouth water - he is a clever man! If you are in Sete, there is a bewildering choice of restaurants, but this one gets my recommendation for quality, value and... More

Ate from the just under €30 set menu on the first visit. We enjoyed it so much we went the next night for the same menu and after trying and being disappointed by another restaurant returned and ate from the under €20 set menu on the final night. Oysters were always well prepared and the starter of Gambas came with... More

It's only been a week and I can't even remember what I had. Probably fish. Another in the series of overpriced, hopelessly bourgeois tourist restaurants of southern France...

I'm so glad my friend did some research before our visit to Sete and recommended us this place. Everything was simply lovely! The lady was very friendly, explaining to us the menu in English. And the food was really really good! Our fish, oysters and calamaris were really fresh! Its only natural we left the place completely full and happy.... More

A local steered us here and we were absolutely delighted. Brimming with charm and complemented by an extensive menu, it is a real gem among the other places on the waterfront. The seafood was excellent and the portions were really generous. I'm still thinking about it. Reservations are probably a must; we watched a small parade of disappointed people turned... More

It is very hard to decide which restaurant to pick on the main street. We made a great choice, based on pure instinct! Price was good, service was friendly and food was excellent.

We had a perfect lunch here, and wish we could just sit and wait for dinner. The food was some of the best we experienced during our time in France and have promised ourselves a prompt return.

This is an excellent restaurant in midst of many others; therefore complicated to pick out first time. It is specialized on local food, which is prepared and offered very personally. We would surely com back if we were in the region.
