The place looks really nice, but we had to wait almost one hour for our food. Unfortunately the food was also not really tasty.

We visit Hacienda la Bodega for lunch and we was surprised for the old Spanish decoration that is very cool with all the Bulls head in the wall, old wine bottle, the Spanish painting and photos that make you feel like you are in small...old villa in Spain or Mexico, food are excellent, well presented and good flavor the real one, the staff was average no to friendly and not give you no mush information on the dishes, we ended with food like for 8 people in the table we only was 2, one of the dishes Casserole El Paso that I recommend is for 4 persons but they not said nothing, well is a learning experience, we are not speak Czech and they not speak good English, in general they have a very good food and you need to pay for that, and yes is true the place look old and dusty but I think is the recreation of this old Spanish villas, I like itMore

I went to La Bodega for a dinner with brother. When we got an appetizer (baguette and cheese)... we noticed there were ants marching around pastry. Quite surprising, I completely lost appetite for main dish.

We've been to Hacienda La Bodega recently. This place can be difficult to find, it's situated by main road in Frydek-Mistek, but sort of hidden. When we entered the restaurant we got this spanish - south american feel from all the decorations around, I liked...it. We were there on friday night and the place was kind of busy. They serve lunch as well and their specials change daily. Their wine list is pretty extensive from Argentinian, Mexican, Chilean, Spanish and more, we ordered a bottle of white wine, I don't remember which was it, but it was excellent they also offer full bar. Menu offers just about everything from spanish, mexican and south american cuisines, even some italian dishes as you can check out for yourself on their website. Too many dishes, in my opinion. I started with escargot served with herb butter and grana (hard) cheese, my boyfriend ordered beef carpaccio served on hot pan. I must say both appetisers were very good, it was served with a complimentary bread and butter. I ordered sword fish with grilled vegetables, my fish wasn't particurerly very good, it was dry and missing seasoning, vegetables were good. My boyfriend had hanger steak with french fries, the steak was done just right. We finished our dinner with chocolate pound cake and tiramisu, the desserts could use a little tweaking. Overall, it was a good dinner if it wasn't for that dry sword fish. The service was very nice and quick. The prices are little bit higher then average, but again, they offer higher quality products. I would give them another chance for sure, perhaps for lunch next time.More

We stayed here one night, the rooms were really hot, no airco and ventilator. Rooms with low quality furniture, bathroom was new renovated. Directly located at the highway, very noisy. Breakfast was really simple and low quality (even for CZ) The food was partially ok,...one steak was well done instead of medium rare. Inside everything is dark and dirty, the new owner doesnt take care of cleaning. Not againMore

Lot of meat - the card is really big. Expect that you get more than you can eat :) Also good: the personnel is relatively good in English, which is nice for international travellers.

We were a group from Finland (icehockey fans), stayed at the hotel 4 5 nights in the suites, what a great service, friendly and english speaking staff, and the food, lovely meat, snails, good beer and wines, would give 5 stars but there were no...fridges or minibars in the suites...More

A good experience. Nice decorated place with very fast and helpful service. I've tried the rusted duck with rice and it was deliciously cooked. Definitely recommended.

as a local guest, i have visited this restaurant only a few times. everytime i was invited by family members, so it was not my own choice. somehow high prices, in scope of city F-M.. however, a restaurant is very stylish - spanish (or mexican?)...style, there are many beauty details in interier. really, even details on toilette room are stylish, i was excited :-) menu and choosen food was a very good average, but not big portions. i would say that in city F-M are more restaurant thesedays, where quality would be comparable, but cheaper maybe -30% or so..More

The place looks very nice and stylish. However, the disappointment came when we decided to have an early dinner at around 5pm, so no rush hour => no room for mistakes. The food was below average. We had baked snails with herbs and cheese for...starters and the only thing we could smell or taste was very strong cheese. The pork tenderloin we had as mains was dry and the french fries one of the worst we ever had, McDonald's make better. The waiter misunderstood my order and brought us only 1 main course, what we later appreciated due to the poor quality of the food which was communicated with the waiter. After this unpleasant experience I was stunned when the waiter asked me if I wish to leave a tip while I was paying... It does not have to be like this all the time, just sharing my personal experience and more importantly my first impression which tells me not to go there again.More

Well, the best steak in Frydek-Mistek I guess. You can also find in menu a lot of different possibilities. Tapas, steaks, salads, local dishes, but also spagetti or hamburgers. Prices relative high comparing to other local one. Steak you can get for aprox 10€ ,...but they charge extra for potatos and all other stuff. Drinks are cheap (Johnny W costs 60-65 CZK which is ard. 2,5€), coffee, tee costs ard. 32 CZK so 1,3 €. Stuff speaks English really bad, nobody speaks German:) but menu is almost fully translated (English and German) so ordering is not so hard. Just point it by finger:) Stuff is also really slowly. You will wait for your drink or beer long. What's funny at weekend evenings you can hardly find there anybody. Citizens rather go there during a week.More

In 2011 I was very satisfied with this restaurant and we visited it often, it was/is really something different then other restuarant and the interior is stylish. But when we visited it last week we were disappointed. Prices didn´t reflect quality of food and also...we got different tapas then we ordered. But maybe we had only bad luck last time ...More
