Sunny weather today at lunch, with the gentlest of breezes, a grand day and a grand meal. The familiar team at front-of-house, but with a new chef -- the obligatory sleeve tattoo ; young, personable, solicitous of opinion, with a remarkably pedigreed resumé and, very...interestingly, experience in Mexico. No pronounced shift to maize / beans / rice in today's offerings -- no hot-pepper indulgences, no chocolate-and-avocado leanings. Yet. Will he draw on his time in Puerto Vallarta ? Has a local farmer been contracted NOT to spray a row or two of maize against smut infection so that sometime this summer huitlacoche will be on the menu ? Well. We are intrigued, and we look forward to dropping back in, sampling what he offers, learning how he spreads his wings. Today we ate very well and almost classically (mushroom soup ; soft-poached egg, green asparagus, Hollandaise . . . no, not sauce, foam ; slow-cooked beef cheek ; Alpine trout with kohlrabi). Two lovely meals of three courses, without wine, at €40 each. Very much worth the visit.More

This small rural restaurant is perfect in all aspects of dining. It is placed in a cozy setting with views across fields toward a forest which you see through ceiling to floor windows. You are nicely greeted at he entrance and escorted down a polished...wooden hallway and short flights of stairs to an immaculately set table. The wait staff is trained to perfection and they don’t miss a beat. They each are nicely dressed and extremely polite. The menu is limited but each dish is a unique delight. We had the rainbow trout and it was fantastic. All their breads and deserts are home made and each main dish is prepared from scratch. The price is above average but so is the quality and it’s worth every penny.More

Friends brought us here. They were here before. They told us about the quality of the food, the creative dishes, the wines, the service and the atmosphere. A very special place with overwhelming reviews. Pushing my wife's and mine expectations sky high. Honestly, this restaurant...is like we want heaven to be. We had outstanding culinary experiences, every dinner course explosions of electrifying delicate tastes. We got two tempting appetizers, already satisfying. But after tasting the dödölle, dinnye leves, vasi pecsenye and túrógombóc, accompanied with 3 wines on the right temperature, we really, as lovers of exceptional cuisine, were stunned. What a restaurant! The kitchen staff seems to be very dedicated to their jobs. Also Csilla and Zoë, our very friendly waitresses, are very knowledgeable clearly telling about the wines and the dishes. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon.More

Great and professional restaurant with beautiful view and enteriour. Perfectly prepared traditional local cousine, always with a creative twist. Everything was great, but I was the most impressed by the dessert which combined the sweetness and softness of pumkin, the distinctive taste of pumkin seed...and some sandthorn cake. Reservation is needed but absolutely worth it.More

They create the "image" of a high class restaurant in the middle of Orseg. The area is nice, indeed, service is nice, but the food is nothing special, way few choices, quite bland. And way overpriced.

Pajta is a great choice if you want some fine dinning for normal price. + FOOD (delicious, extravagant but tasty, big portions, authentic, etc.); + ATMOSPHERE (calm, nature, natural brightness in restaurant, cozy music, beautiful design of the restaurant); + STAFF (polite, everybody speaks English,...they make you feel like home); + PRICE (10 course menu + wine pairing for 2 persons = around 130 euros). All in all amazing experience, I will definitely come back again.More

Everything was excellent! It’s a really nice place with excellent cuisine. My wife ordered the local food, myself the degustation menu. Food and wines are delicious. Whenever I’ll come nearby, I’ll visit this restaurant again.
