This was our first stop in Pondy and we loved it. Kevin was super helpful with tips on where to go in Pondicherry and beyond and we loved the ambience, food and drinks there. The zucchini salad and the crepes were all excellent. The hidden gem was the vintage clothes store attached: some of the best stuff I've seen in... More

More of home than a resturant. At first we went in thinking as a resturant but look like an antic house. Food was ok. Lots of space wasted

We have taken your comment in consideration. However, this is not a restaurant, it is a cafe where you can relax and chill with coffee and snacks. The space that you think is wasted is to keep privacy and comfort to customers. We want costumers to feel at home and not in a canteen! Hope to see you soon! More

Cafe Des Arts could be called the most cliched place to be in at Pondicherry, for good. I wont say it's pocket friendly, but not too expensive either. The food is good, staff was friendly too. The ambience, paintings and quirky interiors would definitely be the cherry on top.

A french cafe housed in a quaint, old building; this place is as known for its cool wall art as for its yummy waffles & crepes or delish hot chocolate & milkshakes. A popular joint for foreign tourists, this is a must-visit cafe when in Pondicherry! Indulge the traveler in you by consulting the various travel guides & other books... More

I've been to cafe des arts mainly to try their pretty famous mango lassi and I must say it deserves the honours. Its a beautiful place full or artistic pieces and paintings. I guess they also have some events there.

In the heart of the French Quarter, cafe des arts is a quirky and chilled out cafe. Had the ratatouille baguette which was a huge portion and delicious. The flower syrup drink was refreshing and made out of the Hibiscus flower! Lovely atmosphere, wifi and quiet.

Amazing Food. Loved the Vibe but its open only till 7 pm in the evening. Also, in Summers it became too hot to sit inside. The Crepes n Coffees n Salads are jus gr8. Small Joint but Nice One.

One of the few places around where you can just sit and relax. Just like all the western style places it's a bit pricey but it does offer good quality food and nice coffee.

Thank thetallJJ
