Family Visit

Busy & vibrant, decided to stay and eat evening meal. 2x couples, waiters very attentive and professional, we had x2 sharing platters( fish) enough food. Three enjoyed, one stated ok. Clean restaurant. Quick service no complaints, live music which is always a bonus.

My husband and I found this bar on here and because of the reviews, we thought we’d give it a try. Wow! So impressed! From start to finish the evening was perfect. The staff are attentive, they all speak excellent English and couldn’t do enough for us. Every member of staff we spoke to was lovely. The place gave “home vibes” from the decor and small touches/decorations. I asked the staff if it was owned by English people and they said it was. I could tell, as it was just like being in your local pub back home (but much nicer). We had wings, halloumi fries and truffle and Parmesan fries which was all delicious. The food being bought out around us all looked delicious, especially the steaks!! We had numerous cocktails (recommend the purple rain) and we stayed to watch the live music which was really good! We stayed for over 4 hours and were pleasantly surprised by the bill at the end of the night, very reasonable! Literally the best service we’ve ever experienced in Tenerife and we come very year! Toilets were spotless and even the finer details like the staff handling the drinks correctly (no fingers around the rims here) even passed me a straw using a serviette! Can really tell the staff have been trained to a high standard! Only “slight” criticism, although more of an observation, the singers were brilliant, but couldn’t really hear them clearly through the sound system, it sounded distorted/muffled. Not a real issue really as it was still very good, but I can tell the owners strive to offer the very best of everything! It really doesn’t go unnoticed and they should be really proud of what they’ve created. Thank you, we will definitely be back!!

You will not be disappointed if you come here

We came in for Sunday dinner last week. Have got to say probably the nicest Sunday dinner I’ve had in the last few years. (Don’t tell the Mrs ) I went for beef and the Mrs went for chicken. Both amazing. Beef dripping roasties, creamy peppery mash, nice side dish of fresh veg and Mac and cheese and amazing gravy. We enjoyed it that much we later came for chicken goujons and chips, again some of the best freshest chicken tenders iv tasted. Coated in panko. Then had the berry crumble for dessert and let me tell you YOU NEED TO TRY THIS! We decided that night if the food was as good as we thought then we should try a breakfast in the morning. So we did! BEST sausages on the island guaranteed, English back bacon proper beans and nice orange yolk eggs. I don’t work here, although I wish I did. The staff are all very friendly and there is a great atmosphere almost like a clubhouse plenty of people chatting away having a great time.

I walked 25 minutes from Los Cristianos centre to get to this place for lunch, based on the reviews, and I must say I was left disappointed. Average at best. They have a decent lineup of drinks, including plenty on draft. However, lunch was average. Whilst it tasted and looked alright, it was nothing to write home about. I ordered Chicken Tenders and the Club Sandwich, both fairly standard orders. My food arrived over 40+ minutes later, and only after I asked where it was. I then had to ask the waitress for another update before it came out..... separately. A sandwich and some tender should take 15-20 max, not 40+ minutes. You could feel a lack of urgency throughout the whole place, and it was far from busy. Overall average experience and food I could have got elsewhere, quicker and cheaper.

Hi we’re so sorry your walk took you so long to be disappointed 😞 we are currently well aware we have issues at the moment with 6 members of staff off sick we’re having to juggle to try and get the right balance (which clearly isn’t yet correct) I apologise you wasn’t wowed by our chicken tenders and club sandwich and upset by the waiting time. The quickest any of our food would arrive would always be a minimum of 20minutes due to everything we serve being cooked fresh not frozen, precooked or reheated. We do pride ourselves on this in comparison to other places. Whilst I agree 40mins at lunchtime is a little excessive if we wasn’t indeed busy and your order was one of the first in and I’m happy to look into this for you if you would like to message me with date and times 🙏🏼 hopefully we can recompense you for the inconvenience caused 😞 We hope that you would try us again in the future when hopefully our staffing levels and service are back to our usual high standards 🤞🏼 Sorry again. Get your head in the Vaults

Brilliant bar with quality Live Music from varied artists rather than the standard Tenerife tribute acts. We ate Breakfast here regularly with great choices and the Sunday Lunch was incredible. Drinks and food slightly more expensive than the surrounding strip but for quality of food, decor and entertainment I would definitely recommend this. In fact more, it's my favourite bar in Tenerife.

Make sure you ask the staff how long the wait is for food!!

We arrived last Monday approximately 2015. Straight out to see the new Vault for a drink and some food as a family, 2 adults, 16y.o, 14y.o and a 6y.o. We ordered drinks and food as soon as we arrived. The drinks arrived straight away which was good as it was our first holiday drink. An hour had passed and we then decided to ask one of the staff how long our food would be. We were told very politely "10 more minutes". Not ideal with a 6y.o at nearly 2130 having been travelling since around 1000. She was very apologetic and sympathetic re our little one. 10 minutes came and went and my partner decided at that point that she had to leave to take our 6y.o back to our accommodation whilst picking up something for him to eat on the way back so she could get him to bed. Their 2 meals were cancelled without issue and the other 3 arrived at 2145 some 90 minutes after being ordered.........and then they had got a change to one of the meals the wrong way around. No big issue. The food was lovely that the three of us ate. Just a but of feedback that it may be worth staff telling customers that for example "There's currently around an hours (or whatever it may be) wait for food". Had we been told that we would've still had drinks but we would've chosen to eat elsewhere on that occasion so we could've eaten all together as a family. It is a lovely venue and it wouldn't stop us from going back but we would definitely ask how long the wait for food would be in advance. Just maybe an idea to take forward re letting people know about the wait. Well done on the renovation and expansion. It looks really smart. Probably one of the smartest bars in Los Cristianos.

I can only apologise that this has happened. We have specifically asked the floor staff to absolutely let our customers know if there is going to be wait so extremely upsetting to hear that this still wasn’t being done 😢 8 o’clock seems to be repeatedly our busy times and as all our food is cooked from fresh it can be long waiting times however fully expect staff to let you know before or ordering or as soon as they are made aware by kitchen. I’m glad to read however it tasted great and that it hasn’t put you off. Going forward we definitely need some better training. Myself and my hubby visited here this evening and the food did not disappoint. Very tasty and hot and fairly priced. Hubby had a ribeye steak with onion rings and peppercorn sauce and I had the vault chicken burger with sweet potato fries 😋😋 would defo visit again!

This was our first visit to the vault . We were staying in the olvina apartments across the road . The staff the place and the food were amazing . Our server was Mila and although it was super busy she was friendly attentive and very helpful checking in on us through the evening . We had the nachos for starters absolutely amazing and not for the faint hearted . I chose chicken chorizo burger with fries and slaw it was cooked beautiful and my husband had the lamb kofta with fries and slaw that was also very tasty and amazing . There was a male live singer who was very good and a group to follow . We left before the group as the table next to us we actually with the group and very loud and annoying . Screaming and carrying on . Not what we signed up for . We appreciate this was not the venues fault but was very off putting and several people around us left due to this behaviour . We all Like to come out and have fun but when it impacts on others around you it’s very selfish . We will return in a few days as it was a great experience in all and the staff the place and the food was excellent . Well done to everyone as the chefs dishes were also very tasty and the food was out very quickly .

Actually I think I owe you an apology. I’m not in anyway going to pretend this was not me, unfortunately it was. My friends came over from the uk as a group for the first time in a very long time without partners and we were all getting a little excited over my wedding plans, two of their birthdays this weekend and of course when we sent the drink link to friends to buy us drinks online it all got a little silly. We didn’t for one moment think we were upsetting anyone and had we have done we would have happily moved outside not to do this. I can promise you I won’t be out like that for another year at least! I am glad you enjoyed your food I remember your nachos going to your table and thinking Christ they’re huge and look great !! Hope I didn’t spoil your evening too much and hopefully the fantastic staff will see you again very soon!! I for one will be nursing this hangover till June I’m sure and by the sound of it very much deserved! Sorry again x Jadene (The Vault co owner)

I cannot give enough praise to the lovely Steph who went the extra mile to give our group exactly what we wanted for breakfast all week. Several of us have a variety of dietary needs and she managed to suit all of us, including cooking my omelette in oil rather than butter which makes me ill. She never once made us feel difficult. Excellent bar, great food, good ale and special staff!

Great attentive service , lovely decor and relaxed atmosphere . We ordered a meal which was great value for money , cooked well with good quality ingredients . We enjoyed the band not to loud and good atmosphere . Staff are alter , polite and friendly . Worth the walk up the hill . Will be back

This bar is excellent for breakfast. We've just left it & can't recommend it more highly. Lovely range of breakfast items from granola to full fry with eggs benedict & florentine in between. My husband & I had eggs florentine & as I don't like runny eggs, they did them exactly as I like them - nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

Just spent our first ever week in Los Cristianos Tenerife along with 10 other friends. We visited The Vault every morning for breakfast & every evening for drinks during our stay. The food was top notch & I had the full English every day which I can highly recommend. We also had an evening meal on the day of our arrival. I had the steak which was also excellent. For those like me who like their real/craft ales they had Brew Dog Punk IPA on draught which was an unexpected surprise. The also had great live entertainment ever night & we especially enjoyed the Black Hole who played great rock & blues covers. The staff who work there are so polite & efficient & made us feel very welcome especially Steph who went the extra mile for our group every morning. We will definitely make a point of visiting The Vault when we’re bank here again.

Had been looking for bar/pub that serves good selection of beers and ales. This trendy place has it all good music bands beers and burgers even called in next day for breakfast. Staff serving were really friendly maybe could do with bit more training on what beers ipa's were in fridge but overall a great experience can't wait to return

If you’re going to have a rude chef, get yourselves a closed kitchen.

Me and my boyfriend came here last year and loved it, staff were lovely and there was a good atmosphere. We noticed they now serve food too so thought we would give it a go. Food in here was average and couldn’t help but feel like bringing them custom was nothing but a burden to a few of the staff members. I suffer from a nut allergy and made the first waitress aware - she was lovely and immediately went and asked the chefs for their advice. This is when I started to feel uncomfortable. The kitchen is open and the restaurant was empty. I could hear the chef, who quite clearly had a bad attitude, saying “this is what I say to people… if their allergy is so bad to the point where they could die, then don’t eat here.” Maybe say this if nobody can hear you, but in earshot of the customer, how unwelcoming. 😳 I find it difficult eating in restaurants with my allergies as it is, and I always dread mentioning it to the server as I don’t like to cause a fuss or cause problems, so to then hear the chef huffing and puffing about it, it makes me feel like a burden and also unsafe. If so many restaurants I have been to can be so accommodating and amazing when dealing with allergies, why can’t all? I can’t say I expect this review to be taken as constructive criticism if it does get read, as every reply I have seen from this place is childish, defensive, sarcastic and inappropriate. However, I would like to make other potential customers who have allergies like me aware of what to expect if they do decide to go here. 🙁

Good afternoon Phoebe, actually you’re completely incorrect I always respond to my reviews constructive or not and the way in which I deal with some is in a bantering way because let’s be honest reviews can tend to be disingenuous, false information and so on. I do this because most who write them wouldn’t return unless they have complained in the correct manner either in the bar, through messages or email there’s usually no way to rectify the situation they have said has happened, so I do it to make the few bad reviews more light hearted for those looking to still try us. Now then on to your review; I can only apologise absolutely that should never have been said! I couldn’t feel more ashamed than I already doin the instance that it was. There is absolutely zero justification for it. I just want you to know that obviously we won’t be closing a kitchen that’s been going for three years because of a rude comment because obviously we don’t train our staff to say such things and we cannot control what comes out of their mouths. However having spoken to kitchen they have told of a different story - if it was yourself in yesterday who ordered a burger and chips they suggested they were bantering backwards and forwards with you and that you was joining in with them?? Still, going forward with regards to allergies, Obviously it is an extremely serious matter which in some circumstances can result in death so the only thing I will say is that I can understand the worry of being able to make absolutely sure everything is safe- I’d be worried if they wasn’t worried being honest. Still none the less we will stress about allergies and the handling of them with all staff. Thanks The Vault x

Exceptional staff!

We were in Los Cristianos over new year, we visited the Vault many times! The staff were always extremely pleasant and helpful, making sure we always found a seat. We only ate there once burgers were delicious, not so keen on the chips which were a little on the garlicky side for us! Well done to all the staff see you at new year!
