Small restaurant where you eat on the beach with your feet in the sand, in the moonlight with a romantic atmosphere and sitting on comfortable sofas which during the day transform into sun loungers for the beach. The location is priceless.
An excellent quality of food both from the point of view of the raw materials and the generous portions. Attentive and friendly service who spoke Italian. They had brought us a wrong dish and they changed it for us. The only flaw was that they hadn't removed them from our bill.
They recovered with the dessert that is offered for everyone to conclude on a sweet note.
Fair and average prices for eating Greek cuisine.

My daughter and I visited there on first evening for dinner sitting on one of their lovely beach sofas. Food is fabulous with traditional and modern Mediterranean food. The beach sofas become sunbeds during the day and are very good value at 30 euros in May and 40 in June. That’s all day for 2 people and the parasol. The cocktails are fabulous and competitively priced. The music is background not booming party like further around the bay and there is a lot to “people watch” by the harbour with the boat trips, catamarans and water taxies. As repeat visitors there were extra treats of melon and brandy and one our one wet day a free glass of our favourite rose wine while we watched the view and played cards. The staff were attentive and lovely, thanks Dimitri and the fabulous team😎

We ate very well, fresh fish and good advice received from the waiters. Outstanding lobster pasta, as well as grilled squid and baked feta. Would stay again. At the end of the meal we were given the sweet and bitter, honest price paid for what we ordered. Friendly staff and very helpful. Would stay again

Restaurant located on Platis Gialos beach which offers a fantastic view, the atmosphere is truly magical if you are lucky enough to literally dine by the sea.
Varied menu offering both typical fish and meat dishes.
The chicken souvlaki was sublime.
Excellent value for money.
At the end of dinner they offer dessert.
During my holiday in Mykonos I dined in this restaurant twice, I really enjoyed it.

Where to start? Food -excellent while eating here I’ve several people in the restaurant say it was their best meal in Mykonos. Is it fine dining not really but the quality of food and presentation is excellent. Service is excellent and very well trained team who genuinely want you to be delighted with your food. Well done Dimitri and Antonio and all the staff. When you eat here you feel like a welcome guest to the Avli family. This was my second visit to this resort area I visited for a week last year too. You know it’s good because of the repeat visitors and locals who visit.
By day there are sunbeds in front of the restaurant. They are €40 per 2 sunbeds and umbrella until 5.30pm and then the area is converted into beachside sofas and tables that add the dining area for dinner. The views both day and evening are beautiful with Islands and water taxis keeping it interesting

We had dinner for two nights in this charming restaurant sitting on the beach in the moonlight and eating great dishes! Recommendation the grilled squid and to taste the olives! In addition, they delight customers by offering them dessert: fried balls with ice cream and chocolate! The staff is friendly and attentive (some waiters speak Italian). Recommendation!

We dined at Avli Tou Thodori late for dinner one night when we stayed in Mykonos recently for vacation.
We were greeted warmly by one of the restaurant hostess team members and were seated at a table immediately overlooking the beach in the patio area. The views are amazing!
Our server came by to greet us a few minutes later and provided us with menus and stopped by a few minutes later to answer any questions we had.
We ordered the Greek Salad, Bread Basket, and Sea Bass Ceviche to start. For entrees, we ordered the pork and breaded chicken. All items were really good, fresh and good value for the money.
We really loved this experience and was a standout dining experience in Mykonos!

This was our first meal in Mykonos and we went on the recommendation of our AirBNB host. We went for a late lunch/early dinner and it was a perfect place to unwind and have a relaxed family dinner. The seafood was some of the best we've ever had and the service was perfect. We ate "inside" with a view of the ocean.
A few notes: My mother ordered the seafood salad and she was a bit put off by the whole shrimp (with heads) and mussels still in the shells since she's a little squeamish. My Dad had the salmon and pasta and would have licked his plate if he weren't at a classy restaurant! This restaurant was one of the very few on the island where you can get an IPA.
At the end of the meal we were all full, but the staff brought out a traditional Mykonos/Greek fried donut dessert with Nutella and a scoop of ice cream. It was much appreciated and delicious.
Overall, it was a bit more pricy than we typically pay for a dinner but well worth it.

My boyfriend and I are on holiday in Mykonos... after three days in Greece eating fruit because gluten-free doesn't exist, we arrive on this wonderful island, we did an internet search to find a good restaurant where I could eat gluten-free, we found this with excellent reviews..we went at lunch time to make a reservation for dinner, with great surprise a boy with a white shirt (I assume the head of the room) welcomes us with great kindness speaking Italian ❤️..we return in the evening, he always welcomes us, entrusting us to another waiter, he also spoke Italian very well, very kind, courteous, very professional named Areios (I don't know if it's spelled like that) but thank you very much... we had a great meal, super generous portions, excellent desserts, good wine!! At only 72 euros, on the coast, not even in Sardinia do I pay so little!!! Thank you very much everyone!!! I will take with me a beautiful memory of you and this beautiful country Katy and Mario ❤️

Tavern located on the beach, very friendly staff. Varied menu with meat and fish. We chose the classic Greek salad, really good, and a mixture of grilled meat for two that was superlative and plentiful. Moderate prices considering the average of the island. Highly recommended

We had a reservation for dinner down on the beach at 7:30pm. LOVED it!!! Very picturesque and relaxing. Our waiter was fantastic and by the end of the evening was joking with us because almost everything we ordered had some form of cheese in it. All of the food and drinks were delicious. We were given the complimentary dessert that others have noted plus the waiter kindly brought us each a shot of a cinnamon-like liquor. Highly recommend!!

We have enjoyed lunches and dinners here for years. Today, August 14, at 12:45 PM we walked in and asked for a table for lunch. There were only 3 tables occupied. The rest of the restaurant was empty.
The rude and disinterested hostess first tried to seat us at a tiny table that was too in the sun. I pointed to the table next to it with 4 chairs but only 2 place settings and asked if we could have this table. She says it’s for 4 people. Again, the restaurant is almost empty.
She then takes us to another tiny table that’s also too near the sun. We looked towards table more inside and said this was fine. I point to a round table with 2 place settings and ask if we can have this table. She asks, “are you wet”? What??? The chairs are solid.
The vibe was just so off putting and we were made to feel so unwelcome that we got up and left.
This hostess lost this restaurant our business and our money. She also, say, caused the restaurant to lose our return business. It’s a shame because we have always enjoyed their food.
Stay away unless you want to be treated terribly!

Perfect location and wonderful food. We had a Greek salad, calamari and a moussaka between the two of us. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were then presented with a complimentary dessert of Greek donuts with chocolate sauce and these were amazing! A perfect evening in a perfect location.

Amazing food and warm hospitality, the mixed grill player was sensational, the flavour of the meat was Devine. Fresh fish ceviche was zesty, beautiful flavours and the complimentary dessert I’m still dreaming about. Melbourne prices, same as we would pay at home so not over the top.
