Visited with a large 20 person group. We had an amazing lunch. We all loved the food, drinks, atmosphere and Mariachi group. Eat here and then stroll around Thlaquepaque. Super recomendado el lugar!

Terrible service, we waited more than 30 min and only our drinks were served and there were not even more than 5 tables being served.

El Abajeño in Tlaquepaque is one of the most traditional restaurants in the area. Visiting it for the last 30 years and still feeling it great. Excellent garden. Very good food & drinks, Good service.

This by far was the best place to have a cazuela and listen to Mariachis! The crowd was upscale! All dressed to impress! The food was good! We were there around 8:30-9:00 pm, and were able to listen to the music without disruption. Staff was also very attentive! Can't wait to go back!

This place blew me alway and raised my expectations of Mexican food/cuisine to a whole new level. It's great for any occasion and super inexpensive. The menu is so elaborate that we just ordered all appetizers and couldn't get to main course .... :-) I would totally visit again

Been coming to this restaurant since the early 80's. I love to sit under the tree listening to the local sounds sipping a nice tequila. Still, I enjoyed my torta ahogada, the guacamole, queso fundido (sans... More
