The place is one of our family's favorite. We usually have lunch or snacks in this place. The food is excellent, and the people are warm and polite.

I have been to this place many times. They had the fried chicken which was good and their chicken fettucine was excellent. I love to visit there.

I had a late lunch while waiting for someone. I have been eating here since I stayed in Iligan for 5 years. I always order their "Boneless Bangus" because I love bangus. The flavors of their bangus just overflows in your mouth. Absolutely delectable! Plus,...their "Banoffee Pie" melts in your mouth.More

After my flight from Manila and the land travel to Iligan, I had a very late lunch at Pop Rock Café. It was a jeepney ride away from the hotel that I was staying in and a short walk from the Cathedral. The place was...small but they had a second floor to accommodate more customers. Their menu was a blackboard behind the counter; some items that were not available were covered with paper. Several of the food offerings that were not covered were not available. I ordered their Piadina with a side of fettuccine Alfredo and Banoffee Pie. I went upstairs and got a table overlooking the road below. The interiors were plain—tables and chairs; no decorations. The seats were stiff and uncomfortable. The place was airconditioned but did not have wifi. My order arrived after ten minutes. I was underwhelmed. The piadina and pasta were served lukewarm. The filling had sliced sausages, ground meat, and button mushrooms. It was bland although I liked that it was somewhat spicy. The fettuccine was rubbery. The alfredo sauce tasted strongly of bell pepper. The cheese was all clumped up. The bananas were not evenly sliced. I no longer recall how much I paid but I remember thinking to myself that I would have been better satisfied if I ate at a nearby convenience store instead. I hope theirMore

Never miss out on trying their piadina! It's a sacrilege to skip it ;) About the place, it's fairly small but well-maintained. My only issue here is that they have no waiters/waitresses upstairs (unless someone's cleaning the table or serving the food). If we need...something, we have to go downstairs to ask for it. It's a minor thing, though. Again, this is a no-frills place so I guess a 5-star service is not expected.More

It's a small place with aircon and regular tables and seats, not fanciful interiors. It's clean and the service is ok. It is one that is just for taking a snack or meal, not for spending time away in comfort or to drive away stress....But it's a place to please your tongue. When I have no appetite, or I don't know where or what to eat, I go to this small place. Just the thought of going there already makes me smile. I can always look forward to a satisfying "eat". I love the Piadina, the banana cake that is not like the ordinary banana cake coz the banana is not mushed but sliced and there's cream, and the chicken meals. These are just what I have ordered so far and I don't feel yet the need to try the others as I am completely satisfied with these for now. Perhaps on another time I will try the others. This small place is also within an employee's budget. We pay for the food and not for the fancies. To me, Pop Rock Café is one of those places that makes Iligan home to me. Without this place, it will not be Iligan.More

Great for pastries and other yummy breads and desserts. Close to Gaisano mall. We bought bread and flan and other desert there and they also have pasta plates which were very good.

Yeah, this place was true to its word, long been standing here. They served affordable food and the place was antique but with a mixture of modern facilities.
