A great stop for breakfast and coffee the staff are friendly, we had mushrooms on toast and it was fanrastic and the bacon and eggs were a delight, the portions were a good surprise so if you have an empty stomach the meals will fill it with joy and the value is suprisingly within everyone's budget

We walked in and not only were met by an uninviting waitress but also the coffee was pretty bad. Looked like the waitress was not interested in pleasing clients but more into getting rid of em.

This unassuming little shop fairly delivers in the delicious muffin and coffee department. Day one I enjoyed a potato, blue vein cheese and walnut muffin and a large coffee. The coffee was so large it was served in what could be described as a bowl. Having been stalled by the large coffee I then went to regular coffees which was... More

We went in and preordered our lunch as we were on a time frame. 3 out of the 4 meals and the coffees arrived exactly on time but they had made a mistake with the other but apologised and quickly redid it. The meals were large and very tasty and well presented although all our salads had some old lettuce... More

Honest food with excellent service. Not cheap, but great value for money considering the size of the meals.

Amazing Kumara mussel chowder, very hearty and served with perfect focaccia. Crunchy seed filled crust to quiche was unusual and good. Dukkah didn't have any discernible macadamia nut as it was named but full of sesame seed and other spices. Highly recommended!

Travelling thru stopped for breakfast. Table service with menu hearty breakfast really good coffee, nice little garden out back. The decor is rustic which works well and there was a constant stream of locals ( always a good sign).

Dropped in for coffee on the way back to Auckland from the Kauri Coast. Didn't eat but the coffee was excellent. Had my daughters with me, one had just completed a Barista course in Auckland. She gave the coffee the bigs thumbs up.
