We have busted this restaurant for over 20 years although not for some time. We always have the salad landaise. This was still excellent.

This place is a pure tourist trap. One of the worst meal we had in many years and an insult to french gastronomy!!They serve awful, blend food which is of questionable origin. See the pictures, they speak for themselves. My son's pizza was undoubtedly frozen. My risotto was simply disgusting and the appearance was really awful. Probably frozen too. My... More

I feel it is my duty to advise travelers of very bad hotels, food or experiences. This rates quite highly on my places to avoid like the bubonic plague! This is the place to come if you like your well cooked meat to be served raw, fries to be fried in two week old oil and come out soggy and... More

The city is a strange place - music on loudspeakers in the town - but not a single person to bee seen. Twilight zone ? :-) But go down to the river bank - into La Salamandre and you will get a decent food experience. Moules are great! Pizza was bad The day's meal - oxe cheeks -great stuff Over... .... with fresh baguettes. Chilled quai-side venue. Ideal for a quick snack. Service was excellent and swift. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

We arrived very late (by French standards) for a light lunch, but the staff could not have been more friendly or obliging. We ordered quickly as the chef was about to finish his shift and had excellent pizzas and local wine. Just what we needed.

Arrived a bit late , about 9 PM, very friendly owners and staff. Food was great. Service quick. It was a very nice spot to have a beer at the bar and dinner and some wine. We enjoyed. Owners really chatty and nice. Oh. And desert great.

We visited here as part of a group of 27 and had pre booked but on arrival, after we were shown to the upstairs section, chaos broke out with only one staff member taking food and drink orders and then failing to bring our drinks! Eventually we had to descend to the bar but when attempting to order drinks were told... More

Despite a good position near the river bank this restaurant is only likely to get business from passers by and the fact that there is little competition. It's by no means terrible but the service is average and the meals are the same. There is a good choice of wines by the bottle, carafe or glass although mine would have... More
