We have visited this place, according to an advice of a local. it was a goal! The restaurant is very easy to find and to park in. The service is very very kind, polite and helps to make a relaxing atmosphere. The local wine is fruity, also the dry one. We recommend to order a bottle of white "malvasía", a... More

As other reviewers have described, its set in an impressive cave-like rooms. The food is mainly meat (forget it if you are vegetarian) and ours were OK but nothing special. Service was friendly, it was good for us as raining at the time but we wont be going back

Integuing going into the tunnels of this restaurant. The first was the bar with round lampshades made with different coloured bottles. A sign then pointed to the restaurant which was in a slightly curved tunnel with big barrels held up on poles with the tables below. The waiting staff crunched on the lava floor and took our orders. We had... More

We had a great dinner here, the bodegas is a very atmospheric restaurant where we enjoyed their wines accompanying the well prepared food. Probably a bit touristy during the season but worth a visit.

Dinner at Tamanca means having dinner in a wine cellar. The atmosphere is nice and the waiters are helpful. Dinner is very good. The restaurant is specialised in meat, so that's what you should eat. We can recommend the solomillo with onion and the very special morcilla. Oh, and of course you drink the local Tamanca wine!

My wife and I had lunch here a few days ago and really loved the atmosphere. The restaurant is inside a cave that is used to store wine. We each had steak and neither of us was impressed. I had the steak with garlic sauce and it was pretty flavorless. This place is still worth a visit, though. Maybe you'll... More

Great atmosphere in this restaurant and winery cave, just south of Los Llanos de Aridane. Try their own wines, all at very reasonable prices. If driving past just drop in for a shared starter of Jamon Sarrano and a selection of their wines. Don't stop in the bar walk right through to the restaurant.

We came here for a drink and thought it was so beautiful inside we stayed and ate. Really nice meal, they did me a great cheese salad as I requested a vegetarian meal. The dessert was SO GOOD, I think it was listed as 'traditional dessert' on the menu, it was gorgeous!

Lovely restaurant in a rock/cave. Good meat. Even better wine. Staff very friendly. has a restaurant and a bar area to it so could just hop in for some wine and jamon.
