Definition of Italian soul food - with a twist. Wonderful variation of all time classics (one of my best lasagne so far) and local dishes (very tasty lavarello salad)... we will come back!

We had to try the Bigoli and were not disappointed at all. All the pasta dishes were fantastic and the antipasti very delicious (tip: try the flan over cheese fondue - best ever). Perhaps a few too little options for vegetarians - if you must...find something to criticize.More

It’s hard to know what you’ll get in one of the many lake side restaurants in Torri. What’s to tell them apart? They look very similar, they are right next to each other, great setting, and primarily the menus have little different on paper. We...chose Osteria del 4 based on TA reviews (not always a guarantee either!). The service was excellent, the food had that little different slant in menu and flavour. The days special prime was Trout macaroni and was really excellent. One of our party had melon with prosciutto- and I have never seen so much ham on a plate (actually far too much - cut it by 50% and it would be fine). The main of chicken was superb and very well flavoured, as was the Perch. All in all an excellent experience and likely to be repeated in the coming days !More

So we came as a family at about 19:00. No menus was given to us because there weren’t any. After about 5-10 minutes, menus were given to us. No vegetarian food as listed here in TripAdvisor. As the waiter said - we have from meat...to fish. Little selection of pasta’s. We just had to get up and leave because it was not family oriented.More

At first glance this restaurant looks slightly ordinary with Location in row with other waterfront establishments. However, it is definitely one level Above. Classic dishes with great quality and super friendly staff. Very Nice view as well.

This is my second visit to Osteria 4, second time I tried without reservation. 2nd lucky time. There’s always a little line of people waiting to eat at this friendly and delicious restaurant. The staff welcomed us like real Italians. Open, friendly, loud and with...a genuine smile. Besides the regular menu they had a suggestion of home made pasta that wasn’t on the list. We took this pasta, afterwards trout with almonds and tagliata followed by delicious desserts. Traditional Italian homemade cookies and merengue cup with mascarpone and fruit made at the moment. Accompanied by a Valpolicella Ripasso to complete our menu. The food was perfectly cooked and served. Simple and delicious. (See pictures) Plates followed at the right time and where presented with class. Wine is priced reasonable and there's good wine in each price range. I was surprised by the quality of the wine! In short: if you want delicious food, meat of fish. This is the place to be. You can tell by the numerous locals who also dine here. Great atmosphere, food and service.More

Tasty pasta and gnocchi. Really recommend tp visit but prices are high. We ate gnocchi on cheese fondue and pasta with lake fish - good to check but we were there only once due to prices.

This menu had a great choice - one of us had the steak tartare which was excellent. Another super dish was the steak, rocket and parmesan. It seemed to be a family run restaurant with good service and the puddings were delicious.

It was busy, always a good sign, we had to wait for a table but wasn't a problem. Whilst we waited we sat on a bench overlooking the lake, perfect! Service was good, food was good, price was good, all was good! We both had...chicken, very well cooked and very tasty. Very well worth a visit.More
