Lou's is a lovely winery in an old castle-like building with 6 metre high ceilings and a mezzanine floor. Although I'm a little disappointed they now charge a $5 "bond" on tastings (transferable to purchases) I understand their need to do so and they are certainly not alone in this. The wines, especially the lower half of the list are... More

We have dined at Lou Miranda Estate twice in 2 weeks and both times the meals were superb, beautiful flavors, nicely presented with great service. I know there are many fine dining establishments in the Barossa and Lou Miranda's is definitely one of the top venues.

We were visiting friends in Adelaide and they suggested this place for lunch and we were very glad they did. besides being a n attractive and interesting place the food was delicious. We had a bottle of their wine with lunch and enjoyed that as well. An added little bonus is if you eat there you do not have to... More

The restaurant (which also includes the cellar door) is housed in what appears to be an old baronial hall, slightly bamboozling in the middle of the Barossa. We selected the 'mystery' six course Long Lunch for $80 (or $100 with matching wine - what a bargain). The 'mystery' turned out to be whether the person responsible for selecting the dishes... More

The only thing missing that a lot of the other cellar doors offer is a great view of the vines, but that aside, once inside you get a great Winery experience, the service was good , the food a much better offering than the usual local produce platters, it is a proper restaurant and of course the wines are first... We had a cheese platter and coffees. Sampled moscato and enjoyed the rustic ambience of this restaurant. The staff were super helpful, even allowed me to order after the kitchen was closed. For a non-wino, this is worth a visit. Would have liked to visit when the restaurant was open to truly sample the menu. The architecture, garden and estate... More

We dined here for lunch with friends recently and were delighted with the food, service and wine. The menu was italian based using local products. The group had a wide variety of dishes including delightful home made gnocchi, steak, pork cutlet on the bone and crumbed and a number of entrees and deserts. Without fail all dishes were well prepared and... More

My husband and I enjoyed wonderful food, wine and service at Lou Miranda Estate. Unfortunately we couldn't get into the Restaurant as it was fully booked which left us up the front where wine tasting groups were congregating however once they moved on, it was great. The food was amazing, the wine was wonderful and the amazing advice my husband... More

Came for the long lunch today and it was amazing. We arrived early and enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting before the gourmet lunch started being served. Pizza fingers, arancini balls, pasta, chicken and beef and not to mention dessert. The service was very attentive as well. Do not pass this restaurant and winery up, this is a must do.
