Visit Charis Seafood and enjoy some great fish and chips, locally caught fresh seafood and see the beautiful Pelicans being feed by hand close-up. The variety of seafood available is massive and it can all be cooked fresh for you to enjoy sitting along side the beautiful Broadwater. There is a large outdoor picnic area and the daily feeding of... More

This is the freshest oyster that we have in Gold Coast. Must try!! Grilled Burrumudi fillets, cooked prawns and mud crabs are very sweet n tasty. 😋The freshness of the seadfood is actually no need of any seasonings. Very reasonable price. Next to the shop, we dine in front of the romantic beach with tables and benches. Easy to get... More

Very happy to see the pelicans eating we decided to have some nibbles. The food is very fresh and everything was delicious, from the chips to the fish fillets. I think it's a great thing they do not to waste all the parts of the fish and give it to the pelicans, so I would definitely recommend this place and... More

Nothing but fresh seafood! The prawns huge and the Oysters plump. Competitive prices and friendly knowledgeable staff. Get fresh seafood to take away or get it cooked fresh in store. Surrounded by cute little park and lots of eating space. If you love your seafood get in here! Highly recommend

Tried the Tasmanian oysters, they were just awesome!! Wanted to get something from the fish shop but it was too busy!! I guess with the public holiday (Easter break) period it is not easy to have enough staff!! Will return to try it another time!!

Very impressive fish market and reasonably priced. We grabbed the food and sat next to the beach and it was so relaxing. The food was amazingly good. Only 1 sauce is free and cost AUD1 for another. Very worth visiting but it will close at 7pm.

If you want a really good piece of seafood, choose your own fish and get them to cook it. Very popular but overpriced and sometimes a bit too greasy. They do donate a lot of fish bits to the pelicans for daily feeding at about 1pm so that's always a busy time. Cheaper to buy a litre of drink and... More

We visited Charis Seafoods for a takeaway lunch recently with our 2 young children & were impressed with the freshness of food ordered. Fish & chips, calamari & cooked prawns. Portion sizes were generous. A little expensive, but to be expected in a touristy area. At 1.30pm every day a staff member feeds the pelicans fish scraps directly behind the... More
