There are scores of restaurants in Kamari.I don't remember what made us to chose this one at that moment, but it was a good choice. We tried some greek traditional dishes:dolmades, tomato gefthedes(tomato fritters),gigandes plaki(some big beans in tomato sauce) and a pizza for the child. What can I say...all of us was pleased, the food was tasty.Friendly, helpful waiters.

Our first experience with this restaurant was on our first day on the island walking past and having the main waiter grab our attention to try to get us to eat there. He started chatting with us asking where we're from and making small talk when, in the middle of speaking to us, he lost interest in us and walked... More

Sunbeds are great, comfortable and the beach is also good. I was a bit dissapointed about food. We ordered mixed greek plate for two and we expected a huge meal for offered price (25eu). Unfortunately this plate could be easily eaten by one! They also bring you a bread without asking you, which is nice, but if you eat it,... More

After two wonderful days at Perissa Beach in another beach rental we decided to spend the day at a different location, Kamari beach. Nothing wrong with the beach or location - the service at this cafe was poor. We asked for a menu only to be told to move from our sunbed up to the cafe seating. 3 minutes later... More

Was very quiet on the evening we visited. The location is good on the sea front and we had a table adjacent to the beach. The food was OK, the mixed souvlaki had very meagre lumps of meat compared to others I have had on Santorini and the fish dish was not really up to much either. The house wine... More

Went here for the day and ended up having lunchtime. I ordered a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich. Nothing too hard to prepare and cost €9/9.50. On opening the sandwich to season I noticed they had used one piece of bread and the other was a crust turned the other way round. Seriously for that amount two pieces of bread... More

What can we say great food and service. Andreas and team remember if you have ate there before. Not pushy in the slightest. Not the best decor but definately the best food.

We spent the day here on the beach. The sunbeds are very comfortable and the best we have experienced so far. We only had a toaster for lunch which was nice so can't comment on the food too much. They have a good selection of drinks and it all is reasonable. Very clean as well. As a spot to hang... More

Description
We have been on Santorini 5 times and always stayed in Kamari.
Here we have found The Spring at the far end of the waterfront to be a very good place to dine or just get a cup of cappucino.
The restaurant is not large but run by a friendly greek family and the food is good.
Last year we was engaged and asked if they could make a special meal for us.
To our surprice the meal was not only delicious but more than we could eat and to our cappucino, the wife has baked a special, very tasty cake and it came with a drink all free of charge.
The total price was not more than we normal used to pay for a meal.
If you want a peacefull place with good food, try The Spring!
By the way, they make the best cappucino in town.
