Excellent home made cooking, like grandma's kitchen. Easy going feeling and relaxing atmosphere. Some dishes you might not find anywhere in Greece.

We had an excellent authentic Greek meal. Good selection on entrees and mains. Excellent house wines.

The hotel manager recommended this place as a place that is less touristy and frequented by the locals. We tried the sample plate for 2 at 14euros and it was a lovely combination of local starters enough that we didn't need anything else. It had tomato balls, feta, olives tomato cucumber boiled eggs babaganoush tatziki dolmades beans and tomato sauce... More

Was rather disappointed after all the fantastic reviews. Service was efficient but nothing more. My son and I shared a seafood platter which was OK but I couldn't understand why a dish for 2 contained 3 mussels and 3 shrimps. Surely an even number would be appropriate. Also we were charged 1 euro for the bread we were given but... More

Atmosphere was so nice, located away from the noisy center and the food great, traditional Greek cuisine. The staff was very kind.

We had a wonderful meal at Bacchus. The food was delicious and so was the house wine. Owner was very friendly and after complimenting him on the special I had (stuffed zucchini), he told me about how he grew the zucchinis himself in his own garden. So fresh! Also very affordable, would definitely recommend!

Brilliant family run restaurant on the main road into Kamari. Away from the noisey part of town, good food and the service is excellent. So glad we made our first visit in time to make a return visit during our holiday ☺

We visited this delightful restaurant after umming and aahing over where to eat. It's a short walk up to the top of Kamari near the church on the main road. I ordered chicken Souvlaki and my husband ordered the beef Stifado... wow!! It was delicious; piping hot, the meat was tender and made our mouths water with every bite. The... More

Kamari restaurants are wonderful but most provide the same menu. Bacchus is different. The restaurant is not on the beach, and you could miss it if you blink. But don't miss it. A local suggested that we visit the restaurant, and I am grateful. The food was wonderful, and their local house wine is good too. Everything is made fresh... More
