Previous Trip advisor comments were not wrong. Excellent food, properly chilled wine, good atmosphere in the dog friendly bar and very nice staff. We had pheasant and lamb both of which were of a very high standard with excellent sauces and vegetables. Will certainly return...More

Lovely sunday lunch with family. Roast beef and yorkshire pudding was beautifully cooked and just the right amount to squeeze in dessert. Only downside was its quite noisy when busy due to the wooden floors and minimal soft furnishings, so not really able to hear...More

Was a little unsure about this restaurant as some of the reviews said the ambience was lacking. Not at all! Service was friendly and efficient and our table was right next to the open kitchen. Suffice to say we spent most of the evening watching...More

Had the lamb kiev and pork belly to start, lamb possibly a bit dry and not as flavorsome as it should be, otherwise they were both excellent. Lamb and Cod for mains, both excellent. Service very good. Shame the menu is so small/limited, would put...More

I only seem to visit here about every 12 months on my way back from Cheshire. I forget how good it is. My husband and I brought my 90 year old Mum and we all had such amazing meals. Mum had the Fish and Chips,...More

Easily booked on line with immediate confirmation, the simple lunch menu produced delightful fish and chips, tempura style batter and mushy garden peas. Their Eaton Mess contained substantially more fresh fruit than ‘normal’ without the mushed up presentation often seen. Real ales on tap completed...More

We went to Rowley’s for their Monday Madness deal which was good value for money. On arrival we were met at the bar and had a few drinks before being shown to our table. We could not fault any of the food. The duck confit...More

Description
Rowley’s Restaurant and Bar sits on the edge of the beautiful Chatsworth Estate in the pretty village of Baslow. Our passion is fresh, seasonal food using local ingredients in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The bar is a great place to meet up with friends, open from 10 am serving Fairtrade coffee. Call in at any time for a glass of wine, hand crafted beer from a local brewery, or join us for a light lunch or an informal dinner. Rowley’s boasts three contemporary dining areas, ideal for lunch, supper or dinner. We will look forward to welcoming you soon.
