Not just an ordinary coffee cafe, styling is all different furniture, cups, etc. AND everything is for sale!! How funny is that! There's via the back door another room full of stuff for sale. Coffee is good, service seems sometimes bit slow, nice staff, lots of locals.

Great coffee! Maria's quirky stylings makes it fun and interesting. The recent changes for the interior makes it a very pleasant place for a bite to eat. A few more gluten free options and I would give Primo 5+. Great place for kids too. Will be back...often!

We went to this fabulous cafe three weeks ago and then returned yesterday with 22 friends from a car club. A larger table was set aside for us and we all ordered food and coffee/hot chocolate. Everything arrived very promptly and staff were very friendly and just great. I had a "flapjack" and I am pretty certain that this would... More

Easily the best coffee in Methven! Super friendly service and would recommend your morning coffee here each day you're in town.

What a lovely cafe. I felt like I was in a cozy eclectic bookstore or shop with a variety of rugs scattered about and quiet niches for people to tuck in and jump on their computers. I needed a place to "be" while my family snow boarded Mt Hutt, and this was just an unexpected treasure. The pumpkin coconut soup... More

Best big brekky, great coffee, warm, comfortable and full of character. Family friendly with big tables and free internet. On cold and wet days it really doesn't get much better then the Primo.

This place is compulsory for any visitor just to look around at the quirky clothing furniture lamps that can be purchased. We come for the food. Coffee delicious and rich. Food home made. Soups, smoothies, pies, quiche, all beautifully presented and taste fab. We have been coming every year for +10 years and always excellent.
