Great place to get a burger. They even have elk burgers. The menu was much more varied than your regular diner. Good kids menu and the service was fast and friendly.

Mad musher is very good quality considering the area that it is in. There are not many options however the Mad Musher is definitely a good place for lunch. When we are in the area next year we will definitely stop in again.

We had breakfast here and it was ok. We returned for dinner and oh my, it was horrible. Our French onion soup looked like grey water with old onions and no cheese. We had to send back the potato soup as it was even worse. The service in the evening wasn't great and the food was simply bad. Hopefully if... More

Spent the day hiking with lunch on the trail. Headed out home stopped at The Mad Musher in Whitney. Beautiful location beside the Mazinaw River. We were told that they were full and might be a bit of a wait. We had a table within 10 minutes, very busy. Our server quickly arrived gave a good description of the menu... More

The two of us stayed in town to check on my parents building and had supper at the mad musher on the weekend. Service was fast and pleasant but getting our bill was another story. We got tired of waiting and got up to pay our bill. Meal was good and enjoyed the fries. Very filling.

A nice little place located just outside Algonquin Provincial Park. After a long day of trekking it's a comfort to be able to sit down and enjoy some decent food. The menu is surprisingly broad with choices for nearly every appetite. My group went for the basics - homemade burgers with fresh cut fries. All good! The decor is very... More

Four of us adults stopped in here for lunch last Thursday on our way to view the leaves in Algonquin Park. We all had something different and none of us were disappointed!
