Good food, good and friendly service, needs a little updating but other then that it was nice, it's campy! Lol. I had the Philly steak appetizers and hubby had the Algonquin burger and fries. Fries were nice and crispy and appetizer was also crispy and good!

We stopped here for lunch on our track across Eastern Ontario. It reminded me of the places that we used to stop on the extended raids trips of my family when I was a kid. The menu is a mix of straightforward roadhouse fare with a few *exotic" selections - so a focus on sandwiches and burgers, but also some... More

We had both a lunch and a dinner here. They food was good but not special and was very basis (grilled trout, hamburger, veggie burger, etc.). The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were a little high for what one got.

Thought we would grab lunch in Algonquin Park, driving from Huntsville. Couldn't find the gate to buy the $14.50 parking permit so couldn't stop and park. By the time we got to the east gate where permits are sold we gave up. Drove on and found the Mad Musher Restaurant and enjoyed some good food and a beer. Thank you... More

We were staying in Whitney and decided to dine here on a Sunday night. It’s a quaint restaurant in a casual atmosphere. We were seated right away. Our server was nice, a little absent minded but nothing annoying. The food is Canadian, deep fried & fresh options, with some more unique items than you might find in another small town.... More

We have eaten at the Mad Masher each time that we have been camping in the area. The atmosphere is not fancy but interesting with local art on the walls. This time we both had the venison stew with mashed potatoes and some micro brewery beer - both very good! The waitress was very nice and the service was reasonably... More
