Always good

This is a frequent stop for snowmobilers, so be prepared to wait at lunch time in the winter, the place gets crowded, but it's worth it. I love their chili, hamburgers and home made fries, it's the perfect comfort food on a cold day. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Never had a bad meal... read more

We stop at the mad musher a few times a year. After driving through Algonquin Park. And it never let's us down. Always great food, good friendly service and fair prices. Very cozy restaurant.

Would highly recommend this as a place to eat. Everything we ordered was delicious and the server was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable also. Clearly the best restaurant in town

Eaten here twice now, food is fantastic. You can tell it's fresh made. Service could be better, but to be honest the food does make up for it.

The Mad Musher was excellent for some good hearty food after a day hiking in the park. The staff were friendly and helpful and put the heating on when we arrived damp and cold after a rainy day out in the park. Good simple wholesome food and some decent beer and wine too.

We ate here twice. The first night we both enjoyed venison stew and the second night we had trhe grilled trout. Both nights we enjoyed local draught beer. Good service. Nice view of the river. Do not expect an elegant dining experience, but be prepared to enjoy your meal.

The meal was excellent; well prepared and well served. The menu has a wide variety of items, so everyone will find something they will enjoy. The dining rooms themselves are smaller and quaint. They are decorated by the work of local artists, some of which are for sale. The servers are friendly and speedy. The cooks are great; they prepare everything... More

pleasant waitress and quick service. Poutine was a meal in itself. My German friends enjoyed the food. Gravy with the house hamburger.

Two for lunch on a beautiful fall Sunday afternoon motorcycle ride through the park. My Vegan daughter enjoyed her vegan stew, and her meatatarian father cleaned the plate of the hot roast beef sandwich. An added plus is the home made iced tea and lemonade.
