I went the first day, and came back the second nite.. excellent service, and very good food. I asked for more patacones if possible, and they brought me some more .. my children loved the patarashca and the caldo de gallina. so fresh.

The title speaks for itself and located within walking distance of the main square called, "Plaza de Armas" and the prices are reasonable.

Having visted Tarapoto regularly in the last 15 years, The Patarashca is the best and most consistant dining you will find in this neck of the woods. Everything from the chonta salad and the fresh shrimp to the Paiche and wonderful local touches with a in their hotel. You are surrounded by a very cozy and real touch of wild... More

After painting at Tierramitica with 17 other International Visionary Shamanic Artists one of my fellow artists recommended this cozy spot. I booked a simple room with a high energy ceiling fan which kept the room comfortable at night. The room was clean, with a flat screen TV, comfortable bathroom and shower with a view of the tropical courtyard. The morning... More

Yesterday evening, however, we had their Tiradito (kind of like ceviche) and fund it to be really salty. I should have known that the dishes shouldn't be too salty and that we should have returned it, but to ur detriment we... More

restaurant itself looks quite nice and rustic. But the food was rather average. Fish was cooked well but deep fried yuca was basically raw. I needed to ask them to exchange it. What's more they spilled whole jar of juice on my boyfriend and brought us just one glass of it to compensate. All together I wouldn't recommend.
