Wow, just WOW! The fish and shrimp tacos here are out of this world...they have a simple menu, and everything I ordered and everything they did was so spot on. The service is great, the quality of the food is phenomenal (albeit a bit spicy!!)...I ate here regularly because whenever I wanted an affordable delicious meal I knew I could get exactly what I wanted from Sahuaro! They never disappointed! And they are one of the few restaurants in town that is open throughout the day and doesn’t close down for mid day.More

Hubby and I ate at Sahuaro many times during our stay in Mazunte. There was a bit of a sewerish smell outside, but not inside. Loved the shrimp tacos and kombucha. Reasonable prices, too.

Vegetarian food with some fish. They were short on waiters so service was a little slow at first and then more waiters showed up. The food was mediocre. I had fish tacos. The fish was deep fried and tasteless.

Not sure what the deal is with this place, one of the worst meals we had in Mazunte, had a rice bowl which was suppose to have a curry twist and it tasted like something thrown together, we actually had to ask for ginger, douse...it in soy and that still didn’t help. To make matters worse they charge extra for using a credit card, first time that’s happened in Mazunte. Miserable staff, owners sat by us at a table nearby, smoking while one of their 4 dogs barked and the poor puppy seemed to be needing to go for a walk, even witnessed their small chihuahua puke and then come back and eat it a few minutes later, these are people who have dogs but are not dog people. Cheap eats, perfect for the Hippie crowd who buy into this. Margaritas came out of a slush machine.More

There was a very bad service and attitude, food took around 1 hour and the waiter was treating us like he was doing us a favor. Although food is good, wouldn’t go back there.

Our planned restaurant ran out of our preferred selection so we had to scramble to find some dinner. We found Sahuaro to be an enjoyable casual dinning experience. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English and could asist with any menu question....They also had a Spanish and English menu. My wife was craving fresh and raw so she had the (verde) vegetable bowl with a side fish taco. I had the Veda bowl...a curry, veg and rice dish with a Dorado/Mahi Mahi topping. Both dishes were very good and an excellent price. They have an assortment of fresh juices, beers, mescal, veg & non veg burgers, sushi, sides and tortas/sandwiches. We enjoyed our meal and will go back.More

In a very relaxed ambiance we ate a few times in this open aired restaurant with awesome fish tacos, yakimeshis, verde bowls, hamburgesas, everything we tried was really good and the price was really affordable. Drinks like beers, mezcal or Cocktails like Pina colada orMargaritas...were 2 for 1 between 5 and 10pm while happy hour.More
