Found out about the live music on Fridays so we went to check it out. We were really pleased with the music and the atmosphere. The locals and staff were welcoming and we had a really good evening.

Went to see 'The Harvs' and have a bite to eat.. Good to see that the pub is back on track, happy helpful bar staff and the mens revised toilets ARE STUNNING. What a genius Chris is at using unusual materials.

This is a fantastic pub with a great menu. The burgers are really yummy. There are plenty to choose from and are served with homemade chips and coleslaw. Visit on a Wednesday to receive 'buy one get one free'. Staff are friendly, service is quick, decor quirky and atmosphere great.

I have popped in to the Greyhound a couple of times, tonight was the first time we have eaten there. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, welcoming, cosy....log fire roaring.... professional staff. Food.....great, fab veggie options on burgers, tasted great. My partner rated his Morning Glory (name of the burger....I naively did not know the 'other ' meaning) a 9/10. Quirky slant on... More

We popped in for a mid week burger and pint. First ever visit even though we live only 20 mins away. Lovely pub. Lovely food. Good beer and great staff. We will return.

Last Thursday of the month is curry night. 3 curries - beef, chicken and veg. Didn't try the veg but beef and chicken very tasty with loads of meat. Onion bhaji, poppadum, naan, chips, chutneys. Eat as much as you want for £10. Must be tried

Country pubs don't get any better than this, live music at the weekends, good food at fair prices, a variety of beers and all served by staff with smiles on their faces who go out of their way to make customers feel welcome.

Really nice home-cooked food. Bit limited menu outside burgers but what is on the menu is really tasty, large portions, good value. Super chips! Veg burger big thumbs-up from the veggie in the party. Good selection of ales, well kept, changes regularly. Excellent prices food and drink. Food can be a bit slow when the place is busy. You can't... More

Lease holder Jon Pasque and chef conor fairbrother welcome you to meet our team at one of the regions most popular traditional pubs. The Greyhound at Botesdale dates back to the 1400's when it was a coaching inn on the main route to London. The pub today is bursting with character with a roaring log fire, walls filled with taxidermy and bare oak floor boards which give it the feel of stepping back 100 years. Since re-opening in 2004 The Greyhound has carved a niche by championing the small local brewer. With an interesting range of ales, hand pumped, there is always something new to try. In 2012 a major refurbishment program was completed at The Greyhound with an outstanding extension added, providing a pool room with vaulted ceiling and French doors opening onto the patio, Along with a new kitchen (which after 3 years is doing better than ever) and a refurbishment of the lounge bar, The Greyhound has become the first choice for people wanting quality traditional food, in a "ye olde" pub with a very welcoming atmosphere.
