We have visited and ate at this spot over the years, under different names and owners, and it never disappoints. The food and decor has been elevated since the last hurricane and I will definitely return when in the Daytona area.

A local we met while exploring Ponce Inlet led us to Down the Hatch. We had drinks and shared the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer--awesome choice. We intend to return for lunch or dinner on our next visit to Ponce.

The smoked fish dip is excellent and a must try. The fried shrimp are good, but I have had better. They have a good beer selection and the staff is excellent.

Love love love this place. The salmon with smoked Gouda cheese sauce is a must have. We love to sit and watch the boats come in and out.
