Good food, oysters were great. Live music was very good. All around very pleased with our meal. Historical value was great if you’re a racing fan.

Even if you aren't into racing, the memorabilia of racing is fascinating! The view is of the ocean and it is gorgeous. The food is very good and there is a nice selection on the menu. When we ate there, there was live music and...it wasn't on the weekend!More

My favorite part of any fish dinner is the hush puppies. We were so disappointed to find out that, not only did the fish dinner not include hush puppies, but we had to pay $8 to get some. And then there were at least a...dozen of them, which mostly were wasted. I just wanted 3 or 4 (since they were small) with my fish dinner. Most restaurants provide the bread complimentary with the meal. So my $17 fish dinner came out to $25 after I paid for the hush puppies. Ridiculous! But I have to say the food and the service were very good. Probably won't go back, and probably won't recommend to anyone...so disappointing. This was our 34th anniversary dinner.More

This has been one of my favorite places for years now but not anymore. I've been waiting to review because I thought I'd give the new owners a chance to get things up to speed after the transition period. I'm sad to say that it's...been months now and the food quality is awful. The ingredients are cheap and everything is way too fried & salty. I'm not coming back, it's a waste of time & money. You can't beat the view though so if you just want to come for a drink & the view seems ike they shouldn't be able to mess that up. It's really worth less than 1 star.More

Weekday lunch on the beach! The crab dip was amazing; my husband’s burger was very flavorful and I had a Reuben with fish that was incredible. Plus all the history here. A bit pricey but what isn’t nowadays and you only live once, however, will...be back here again.More

We have been coming here for years but this past visit will mean we’ll never step foot into this place again. After being seated and placing our order the “manager” berated us in front of all the other guests because a 2 top was seated...at a larger table. Despite my better judgement we stayed after the server tried to help and explain what happened. Regardless, this individual cannot handle personnel issues much less make the guests feel welcome. I’ll eat at every other establishment before this place again.More

Ordered half dozen baked oysters. Tiniest I have ever seen, not even the equivalent of a good sized oyster when all put together. Don’t waste your money on these! Good service and location.

This use to be a favorite place for me and my family. However, we no longer go. The new owners ruined the place. Raised prices, the food is terrible, and the place is going down the drain. Don't go.

This used to be a favorite stop, new owners limit drinks to one ounce but charge a premium. Food is greasy and overpriced. Typical tourist trap, great location but will not return.

Tons of NASCAR memorabilia… old school. Great location on the beach. Patio outdoors. Now to the food…DON’T ORDER oysters till Sept!!!! Three of the ones in my dozen were the size a dime!! Response from one of the mgrs was… “That’s what they ship us...till fall!” Yikes- $19/dz! Side of hush puppies were average. Shrimp and grits was a generous and tasty entree. Band a wee bit on loud side making any conversation a challenge. Fun place, go once…. But don’t get the oysters!!More

On a local’s recommendation, we went to Racing’s North Turn for lunch. We were quickly seated at at outside table with a beach view. A nice menu with a good selection of seafood and land-based meals. Friendly staff and large portions. Teresa’s recommendation for the...Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was right on the mark. “To Go Boxes” are probably very common.More

Have wings at market price. Shrimp was peal and eat $18 for 1/2 pound. Host said hours but it was really 40 minutes but table was vacant when we arrived. Waitress was all over and slow to serve. Bartenders seem stressed. Good music and good...burger but menu changes and up charges make it not the same. . Will be back but much less often. We were regulars when we stay for the month. We really enjoyed Pit Crew special of chicken tossed in buffalo sauce to go. But it’s just not available.More

The steamed shrimp were awful. Not sure what the seasoning was on them but not Old Bay. They were small, over cooked and no flavor. Possibly previously frozen. And they were $28.00 a pound. That's a lot more than I pay anywhere else. They were...not the beautiful pink perfectly cooked shrimp we had the last time we were there. The Mahi tacos have also changed. Not the tasty shredded abundant amount of Mahi. Now a small amount of fish, maybe 3" long and 3/4" wide on some lettuce and a few chopped up tomatoes. I ordered the sauce on the side and it was ok. The fries looked hand cut and were ok too. But the portion was less than 1/2 of what we got the last time under the previous ownership. This was very disappointing as it's over 45 min drive for us. We will defiantly not be returning.More
