The restaurant sits on the exact location where Nascar ran it's first sanctioned Grand National race in 1948 until 1958. The walls are lined with vintage photos of racing days gone by and our current racing heroes of today. We offer a full service bar with great views of the ocean and over 25 flat screen televisions with all you favorite sporting events. Each night we have Live music that starts at 6:00 PM.

Today was a gorgeous day, so wife and I went over to the beach in our convertible and had a late lunch. We got a nice table outside, but under the roof, so we didn't have to sit in the sun. She had the shrimp...salad sandwich and I had the fish reuben. Both of us had french fries too. All very good. The fries are lightly seasoned with something, so you don't need to salt them. We also each had a frozen margarita, which was excellent. After dinner, we relaxed on the adirondack chairs that they have right at the end of the deck facing the ocean. Great day. Food came out pretty quick, considering how busy they were. Server was nice too.More

Covid is still very real but you would not know it from the lack of masks on both staff and customers. Plus sign postings shaming individuals with health concerns and lack of child care alternatives for not returning to dangerous work conditions. The food was...good and the servers were very nice. Hope the servers are well and on the job next time I visit in three to six months.More

This restaurant is located at what was once the north turn of the historic Daytona Beach racing events which is the birthplace of the Daytona 500. You get history, food, drinks, and Daytona Beach all rolled into one. The view is awesome as is the...dining area located directly on the beach. They have a very diverse menu. The food is well seasoned and flavorful but my fish was served fresh and hot while the rice and sides were really cold. The restaurant was short staffed but our waitress was wonderful!More

First, the food was good and the service fast for being so understaffed. Wish the weather has cooperated. We would have loved to set out on open deck on the beach. But what truly makes the place is what it represents. The interior is car...and racing themed, naturally. The stage set up to look like a 40's gas station. The museum is small, but has quite a lot of news clippings from the day, racers, and other memorabilia. Great place for a burger, beer, and some nostalgic NASCAR if that's your thing!More

This place is racing history due to its location. The restaurant is like a museum inside- lots of photos and racing memorabilia. Service is slow due to covid and less employees but be patient and don't go starving. I had a grilled chicken Cesar salad...and it was great. My friend had a bowl of chili. Atmosphere is friendly and casual. We viewed the photos while we waited and our food arrived in less time than we thought on a busy Sunday afternoon. From the other reviews I see, it all depends on what you order- I don't care for seafood so I never order it...More

I've eaten here many times over the years. On March 23rd for the first time, I saw a pet in the restaurant that was ok until they put the dog up and at the table, then to top that the server started to pet the...dog. After that the server took their order and went about waiting other tables without washing their hands. Food was ok, but you got to question their sanitation protocol.More

Had lunch here on Mar. 24th with family visiting out of town. Took forever to get a server, 30 min. to have our order taken, and about an hour to get our food. It took forever to wave her down when we needed something. I...had the worst meal ever, the worst service, a server who made excuses for everything, and we never saw the manager once. My fish was so dry and tough the fork bounced off it. The shrimp were just as rubbery. Food was not only inedible, it was cold. We were told the cook had had problems before......why was he still there? Wait staff didn't wear masks, servers need more training and the manager needs to be reprimanded for not coming out to see what our problem was. Will NEVER darken their doors again, and with all the other good places to eat in the area, why would you waste your time here??More

Disappointed. Just didn’t live up to all the hype I guess. Heard too many old stories from people who saw beech racing 70 plus years ago. Service was slow considering they weren’t all that busy. Would never make a special trip to see it or...eat there againMore

Each of us had a variety of things off of the menu and everything was very good. Even with them being busy service was reasonable and we had no problems other than the lack of light at our table out on the deck.
